Hello! In this article, I will be discussing database degrade, a type of data integrity issue one can face when using IRIS. First, I will be going over a review of the structure of IRIS databases. I'll then discuss how database degrade can manifest and common causes of degrade issues. I'll then conclude with general tips we give our customers about how to prevent or prepare for database degrade issues.
Attempting to setup an outbound (I'm querying out, not querying the IRIS db) SQL connection. I am connecting to a PostgreSQL database, name "hl7interface".
I have setup the odbc.ini file at /usr/local/etc with the following contents:
My newest app includes a java routine to read data from Excel 95, 97, 2000, XP, and 2003 workbooks and write the data into IRIS globals using Java Native API library.
If you have Git and Docker installed, clone/git pull the repo into any local directory
In the ever-evolving landscape of digital security, robust password management tools have become indispensable. Our password management application, designed to simplify and secure your online life, now comes with an enhanced feature – the ability to edit passwords with ease.
I've overrided the HS.FHIRServer.Storage.BuiltInOperations class, and generally all works fine except of error handling. Where can I find a server setting option to ask IRIS to return OperationOutcome if an Internal Server Error occurs? Currently it returns non-informative HTML instead of JSON/OperationOutcome.
This year at Global Summit we will have several members of the InterSystems internal applications team (AppServices) on site to present topics of interest to developers. There will be General Sessions that we teach on a number of topics related to tools we're launching to the OEX, knowledge gained based on migrating our Caché app portfolio to InterSystems IRIS, best practices for following OWASP Top 10 with ObjectScript, and a survey of the application landscape offering services to our customers and prospects.
I started some development with the IRIS 2020.4 version and did not continue it for some months.
Now I just wanted to continue, but saw the license is not valid anymore.
Is there still a possibility to upgrade to 2021.2 community edition and to recover the globals from the old edition without having a valid license key?
Want to perform SNMP performance monitoring of cache2010 on AIX 5.3. Since the SNMP service that comes with AIX does not support agentX, it cannot extend the support for cache database. Therefore, I plan to deploy net-snmp on AIX first, then enable agentX, and finally configure cache's subagent. Is this workable? Any documents? Thx!

Is there a way to hide a property in Data Transformation UI in Interoperability for IRIS? I would like the property not to appear in the list of available properties to set.
I am using a record map and when the less than symbol < is sent the record mapping fails. How can I escape this character so the record map will not fail.

I was wondering if there is a way of adding additional headings under the settings tab for services etc?
I'm aware its possible to add items under the additional settings heading, but being able to split these out into separate headings would look a lot nicer.
