I search how to send telemetry data from IRIS to azure. It is possible in other languages with openTelemetry SDK. But there are not SDK for interSystems platform. We would like something totaly automated/integrated.
(We already have telemetry data with prometheus and grafana).
I'm trying to write a method that runs an OS command with $zf(-100,"/ASYNC") and then waits for it to finish before returning, but I can't figure out how to check if the child process (in $zchild) is still running. $System.Process.State($zchild) always returns "RUN" even once the child process is gone. Is there some better way to check this, short of running another OS-specific command and processing the output (which is just really annoying and unelegant)?
Hi! I am working on a project where I use record map to transform a flat file and split it into two output text file and in the future will need to split four output files.
I only want to use one target business operations instead of multiple. Is there a way to set the output file and the target folder path in my business process class?
Any advice on how I can achieve this or is this possible? Thanks!
Just starting to use Atelier and having problems with making server connections. I have tried both the super server port and the web server port and both fail with either Unexpected end of file from server (Secure connection disabled) or PKIX path building failed (Secure connection enabled). On a different server I get Connection refused: check the web server configuration.

After project is ready and signed, I usually migrate outcome to production using the export tool from the studio.
For changes/adding to existing projects, I exclude the production class (as it has some different values differing the dev from the live) and I add the differences manually afterwards.

I am demonstrating a use case of how we can create an IRIS Interoperability Production for special use in an external language. InterSystems IRIS, within Interoperability has a framework called Production Extension (PEX), using which we can create productions and program them as per their purpose using external languages like Java, Python etc, and also develop custom inbound and outbound adapters to communicate with other applications.

we are evaluating IRIS Data Platform as an OAuth2 Authorization Server with the use of the official Docker image. We currently struggle with the OAuth2 setup, as we are required to use https:// for the /oauth2/authorize and /oauth2/token endpoints, but the Docker container exposes only http:// in its default configuration. I'm writing some custom functions for use in a routing rule. I have a few that are working, but right now I'm trying to use one that has no parameters. Typically this would be a sub instead of a function, but I'm not familiar enough with Cache to know what I need to do here.
