InterSystems Management Portal is a web application that lets you perform system administration and management tasks for the InterSystems Data Platform.
My Ensemble instance is reporting its status through SNMP in Dutch even though my system language is English. Can I change Ensemble's locale somewhere in the Management Portal?
Hi all, This is a bit embarrassing, and not that critical. I have a local instance of Caché 2016 on my computer, for playing around with. I was attempting to set up two-factor authentication on this instance, and I thought I simply disabled all users except for my own user and enabled two-factor for this user. The next time I tried to login to the Management portal, I received a Server Availability Error:
I'm unable to locate a set of instructions that would allow me to encrypt the traffic to/from the Cache' Management Portal (that is - run it over HTTPS)
I am referring to the Management portal as hosted by the private Apache Web server instance installed with Cache. (I know how to do this for regular web sites hosted on, for example, IIS).
I would imagine the steps would involve, (a) enable SSL on that apache instance and (b) deploy certificates into the Apache web server.
Does anyone have a step-by-step guide on how this is accomplished ?
I recently encountered a issue with Caché and I can't figure out where the problem is coming from.
I noticed that the license limit (200) was reached whenever I was opening my Studio (so it seems). When this occurs, I restart Caché (with the Cube in the Taskbar), and the number of license used is back to 1%, but grows back after. The time taken before the number of license grows back again looks pretty random.
Hi,
We have been upgrading our application to ensemble 2016.1.1. I have moved my data to a particular namespace which i have created and now in management portal i have been getting an error message "namespace does not support Ensemble". Please give solutions to resolve this issue.
I would like to visulaize the tables and data on Power BI, so I try to connect the romote server to Power BI to access the tables and data of remote server. I can able to connect that remote server to our Studio also able to view class files. But I couldn't able to connect the remote server to power BI. I'm getting the below error while click on the tables
"Expression.Error: This native database query isn't currently supported"
New Windows 10 Cache [ TRYCACHE] successfully installed - but unable to log onto the Management Portal . What "User Name" and "Password" are being asked for? No opportunity to specify the sources. Thanks.
I know %CSP.Daemon is supposed to clean up old CSP sessions (?). In my management portal, under System/ License Usage, I see 33 "Units" used (and there are 33 licenses in use), but usernames from old IP address and that are not being used. Their active times are often in the millions of seconds. They are not "on" the system right now.
At most, only 3 users are on the system right now.
Are these supposed to be cleaned up? Can I clean them up programmactially, and how would I know if they're not active?
In System Management Portal, I'm on UnknownUser (which I've accidentally removed the %All role from), so I log out of UnknownUser and try to log in as root or Admin, but only see the following screen:
So i'm having this problem with the task manager, the tasks simply stopped running. I had a problem with queued massages and trying to figure out what to do i'm afraid I may messed up something else, can someone help me ?
Currently, we are utilizing batch jobs at the OS level to kick off routines that watch for files. We are trying to convert these processes to be performed by the Task Manager.
The routines have while loops and perform while loops so long as the time parameters are being met.
What's the best way to ensure Task Manager kicks them off after the completion of the shutdown/backup/start process is performed, which we do nightly? I want to ensure that it starts it regardless of the time that we've set.
Is there a way to change the theme in management portal? or at least the color of the header.
Issue is, some users have access to Development and Testing and Production environments. I would like a way to color-differentiate the environments to reduce the errors.
Recently, we scheduled two tasks (1008 and 1009) within Task Manager. Task ID 1008 is set to run after Purge Tasks (%SYS-ID:3), and Task 1009 is set to run at 7:00:00 each day.
In attempt to provide as much detail as possible, each of the tasks are as follows:
Task 1008
WHILE (($p($h,",",2) < $ZTH("10:00 PM")) && ($P($g(^Task.1008(+$h,$j)),"^",1) = +$h)) { J ^ROUTINE, ^ROUTINE2 D SUB^ROUTINE3 H 5 }
Hope someone can help me, so i was developing a script and during the tests I was using the csession to execute a method. Also i thought i had to stop the instance i was using, so I used the ccontrol stop [instanceName] to stop the instance, but when i restarted the instance i got this error trying to start my production, I have an idea of what's the problem but i don't know how to fix it.
A simple question: View Global Data page shows globals always in ascending subscript order. Very often I need to see latest page, is there any trick for this?
Update: I mean to see last subscripts in Management Portal, not using the code
Hello, I'm currently working on a custom version control implementation. I'd like to show differences between a copy of a previously saved routine as a merge of the ^ROUTINE Global and the current version of that same routine.
I've found legacy Documentation for %RCMP which does the trick in the terminal but I'd like a similar result stored inside a variable. I also want to show differences, not only see if they are the same or not.
The management portal has that exact feature, so maybe someone can direct me to the function that is being used there.
I've noticed that Management portal somehow manages to allow a single user to be in different namespaces in different tabs in the same application (i.e. Management Portal). I've looked at my Processes, however, and see that all of my processes using MgmtPortal think I'm in %SYS, even though 2 of them are looking at globals in two different namespaces; NamespaceA and NamespaceB.
I can even fool MgmtPortal because the first time I try to look at a global in NamespaceA it thinks I'm in %SYS! After a refresh, however, I can see the global in NamespaceA.
we´re looking for a way to determine, if the System Management Portal (SMP) is only accessible through ssl/tls -> https. One of our applications send daily reports via email and places some dynamically created links within it. The application runs on the instance being monitorred (Ensemble-Productions).
Since we migrate some of our customers systems to use https for the SMP connection, we need to generate those links with https:// instead of http://. Our application is characterized as kind of a lib so we use it for many of our clients systems.
Does anyone know how to disable the auto-refresh in Healthshare, especially for Message viewer , Business process designer, DTL editor pages?
These pages in management portal refresh every 15min( i.e. as per the session time out setting) . I tried to set the following two configs to disable the auto refresh but both had no impact.
set ^EnsPortal("DisableInactivityTimeout","Portal") = 1
when ever I pull the xml file from business services and its failed in business process and I am getting the below error.
ERROR ErrPreviouslyCrashedMessage: Message '117' crashed previously.
At the Global Summit several folks had mention that they developed their own production monitor. I am looking to create a monitor similar to eGate that we only display those Services/Processes/Operations that are in trouble, and those Errors that are showing up in the Event Log. Does anyone have any examples of this?
When I try to run Interoperability -> Interface Maps in 2022.1 on a very large namespace, I keep getting timeout errors. Even though I add filtering by Category, Text Search, etc... it still errors out no matter what. However if it is ran in one of our smaller namespaces it runs just fine. WRC told us the namespace is too big, however that should not matter on how many services, processes, and operations you have running.
Has anybody tried to extend the Menu on Management Portal? I like to add a new page or a dashboard that will be created soon to the Management Portal and allow others to use it also. I understand there are risks that I could lose things during an upgrade. I am okay with that. Does InterSystems support such an effort?
