Artificial intelligence (AI) has transformative potential for driving value and insights from data. As we progress toward a world where nearly every application will be AI-driven, developers building those applications will need the right tools to create experiences from these applications. Tools like vector search are essential for enabling efficient and accurate retrieval of relevant information from massive datasets when working with large language models.

I am trying to create REST API following these instructions: https://docs.intersystems.com/irislatest/csp/docbook/Doc.View.cls?KEY=GREST_apimgmnt

However it does not work.

I tried downloaded the v2.0 schema.json of the OpenAPI specification and pasted it on Postman with the parameters as speicifed, but I get this error message back:

Hi Community,

We're pleased to invite you to join the upcoming InterSystems IRIS 2020.1 Tech Talk: Data Science, ML & Analytics on April 21st at 10:00 AM EDT!

In this first installment of InterSystems IRIS 2020.1 Tech Talks, we put the spotlight on data science, machine learning (ML), and analytics. InterSystems IntegratedMLTM brings automated machine learning to SQL developers. We'll show you how this technology supports feature engineering and chooses the most appropriate ML model for your data, all from the comfort of a SQL interface. We'll also talk about what's new in our open analytics offerings. Finally, we'll share some big news about InterSystems Reports, our "pixel-perfect" reporting option. See how you can now generate beautiful reports and export to PDF, Excel, or HTML.

IRIS or Cache?

Hello all,

I am in a bit of a situation where I could get your help please.

I want to get certified with IRIS, but I also do see that there is an availability named Cache.

Are they both the same or different? if different please explain it to me as how?

Also what is the difference between IRIS, IRIS for Health, Deep Sea? Please explain to me.

Also what do you think I should get my self certified with?

Please leave your comments below.

Cheers.

I work as an Integration Engineer for United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). I work on a Health Connect production which processes many RecordMap files. I do not fully understand RecordMaps and I wanted to develop an application for the Interoperability contest where I could learn more about working with RecordMaps. I browsed InterSystems documentation for inspiration on how to start. I was happy to find CSV Record Wizard.

If anybody could give me some insight on creating the %All Namespace programmatically I would appreciate it. There are quite a few posts I found that reference its creation using the UI, but I cant seem to get passed some validations with any form of the below:

What is Selective Build?

Selective Build is a BI feature in InterSystems IRIS (introduced in version 2020.1). Selective Build allows you to build specific elements of your cube while keeping your cube online.

What is special about Selective Build?

Before getting into the details of Selective Build, a brief recap of the different phases during a regular cube build is important. Here are the phases in a regular cube build:
1) Delete existing data in cube
2) Populate cube with full set of data
3) Build all indices in the cube

GA releases are now available for the 2020.4 version of InterSystems IRIS, InterSystems IRIS for Health and InterSystems IRIS Studio.

InterSystems IRIS Data Platform 2020.4 makes it even easier to develop, deploy and manage augmented applications and business processes that bridge data and application silos. It has many new capabilities including:

Enhancements for application and interface developers, including:

Running HealthConnect 2021.1 on RedHat Linux 8.4.

I've configured IRIS/HealthConnect with an external web server to support TLS encryption. It's installed on the same server as IRIS, but is a different instance and version of Apache httpd. That all works as expected.

I would also like to keep the "private" web server available, but I'm having an issue with using the fully-qualified domain name in the URL vs. just the hostname itself.

If I use http://servername:52773/csp/sys/UtilHome.csp to log on, all is well.

Hi!

Currently, I'm working on a script using %SYS.Journal API.

My journal files are compressed, following the documentation the compression is zstd.

I tried to unzip a file with zstd tool, ex:

apt-get update
apt-get install zstd

zstd -d 20230806.001z -o 20230806.001

20230806.001z        : 92.03%   (909312 => 836859 bytes, 20230806.001)

Unfortunately, the unzipped file is invalid:

Write ##class(%SYS.Journal.File).IsValidJournal("/usr/irissys/mgr/journal/20230806.001")

By default, all files created inside a container are stored on a writable container layer. This means that:

  • The data doesn't persist when that container no longer exists, and it can be difficult to get the data out of the container if another process needs it.
  • A container's writable layer is tightly coupled to the host machine where the container is running. You can't easily move the data somewhere else.
