Hi all, My first post. I hope I have created it correctly.

Our team is looking to increase the number of characters in our Ensemble 'Categories' for Services, Processes and operations.

We are doing this to better identify things like Vendor, Message type and integrated application names...

One of our team members thought his might increase processing overhead and a discussion ensued that was not resolved.

If you're viewing a HL7 message in the front end, with a schema correctly applied, you can mouse over a segment or a field and see the schema path, e.g:

Mousing over PV1 in the above message shows the schema path is "PIDgrp(1).PV1".

I'm writing a utility function which you pass an EnsLib.HL7.Message into. I'd like to loop through each segment and take action dependant on that schema path. How can I reference or determine that schema path in code?

HL7 - FHIR

Hi All,

I know hundreds of people have done this but I'm looking for some DTL's as a start to do HL7 to FHIR, I appreciate everyone's HL7 is slightly different, but just some starter DTL's would be much appreciated? Can anyone help?

This error I am getting when I am updating cache.dat file:

This error I am getting whenever I am compiling any of my production or compiling Enslib.HL7.Adapter.TCPOutboundAdapter

Can anyone help me with this ?

Is CR/LF changes to DTL files edited/committed to git via VS Code a known issue?

We had an issue with exporting files from one server and importing on another, using XML code exported from Studio: ERROR #6301: SAX XML Parser Error. Turns out that issue was down to CR/LF changes made when transferring the XML from one server to the other.

Hi guys,

How can I get the list of printer in client Zen page?

We currently use an ActivexObject call "MSDesign.WebLabel" to get the list of printer loaded in a dropdown in our Zen pages:

webControl = new ActiveXObject("MSDesign.WebLabel");
if (webControl!=null) printers = webControl.getPrinters();
and this will give us a list of printers available in client machine but this does work in Edge or Chrome, is there a tool or simple code that I can use to get me the list of printers available?

A client stated to me that they are trying to eliminate SMTP servers from their network and want all email to be sent through their Microsoft Exchange Server. Admittedly I am not very knowledgable of the workings of Exchange Server.

Are there customers sending email notifications through Exchange Server? How is this accomplished? Does Exchange Server act as a SMTP server allowing use of the Email adapter or is there some other mechanism that must be used to communicate with a Microsoft Exchange Server?

Listing files in folder

Question:

How do I get a list of files residing in a certain folder/directory, according to some wildcard/filter.

For example all '*.txt' files in 'C:\Temp'.

You can use the %Library.File's FileSet class query.

It's a very new project even for company. Since I have not experience in HealthCare, I looked at what I can use in my project, and found that I should not reinvent the bicycle, and think about how to store all my data which I need and how to get access to this data. And I can use FHIR, which is looks like everything what I need, what else I need it's just a client.

We are trying to feed in HTTP request & get HTTP Response in ensemble production.

From the below link we got the code for HTTP Request/Response Example. while executing the code we are getting following error: "ERROR <Ens>ErrFailureTimeout: FailureTimeout of 30 seconds exceeded in Test.HTTP.Operation; status from last attempt was ERROR #5922: Timed out waiting for response​"

So I have an ensemble soap client which I use to send a message. The target web service is, however, giving a soapfault stating that my message misses the "SoapAction http header".

When I copy paste the message from my Cache Soap Log and fire it from Soap UI I get a proper response from the target web service. This suggests that my intersystems installation is somehow not including or losing some http headers.

I am running Ensemble 2016.2 SUSE on an ubuntu machine.

Convert HL7 to XML

Hi We have a need in our Ensemble production to take HL7 ver 2.3 and provide an XML representation of it to provide to non-HL7 consumers. What would be the prefereed way to do it. Are there are pre-defined XML schemas in Ensemble that could be use ? We are currently on Ensemble 2015.2

I have package mapped SYS.History but two classes in the package are giving me problems.

SYS.History.SysData and SYS.History.PerfData has an Include ( Include (%sySite, MONEXT))

When I try to open the corresponding table in SQL I get the following error

I'm receiving HL7 message containing the escape sequence \X00D\ indicating a carriage return. In the HL7 documentation I find that this is a valid escape sequence but when I read the intersystems documentation it states that only \X0D\ is valid.

What is the best way to work around this? I think that intersystems should change the UnescapeEx method in the EnsLib.HL7.Segment so that it complies with the standards.

I"m doing a SQL insert in my BPL, one of the fields in my SQL table is an MSSQL TimeStamp. How do I get the date/time from my HL7 message and format it so that I can then insert it into my TimeStamp column in my SQL table? I've tried lots of different combinations.

I used CONVERT(DATETIME, substring(:request.GetValueAt("EVN:RecordedDateTime"),1,8)) to get just the date portion and it works, but I'd like the whole DateTime inserted into my TimeStamp field. This is an a BPL.
