InterSystems IRIS database supports compression? If yes, wha is possible compress? (logs, temp tables, blob data, backup, etc)

I recently created a shell script to run the integrity check.

I used this as reference - Introduction | InterSystems IRIS Data Platform 2023.3

I found the example from above url having a line - "

kill ^IRIS.TempIntegrityOutput(+$job)

it isn't working when I used in a script. it returns the pid of my iris session instead.

Are there any third party tools that have native plugins for monitoring Cache?

I have two databases, and both of them have a global ^Data with subscripts going from 1 to 10 000 000.

I want to get one database with global ^Data but with subscripts going from 1 to 20 000 000.

Since each db is around 100 Gb and they are on a different hosts, what's the best way to merge them?

Is there any way to connect PHP Laravel 8 and Cache DB.

I am tried with one post found in DC, but that is not working for me also.

Thanks for all replies in advance. We have a security vulnerability that we have to get rid of. We use Putty software to connect to cache as a terminal allowing several users to do maintenance work in cache. this uses telnet Plain text. I know that we can configure telnet to be encrypted using the super server service and I'm looking for software that can work like Putty as a terminal using encryption compatible with cache telnet encryption. If I have cache installed on my PC and setup a connection to the server using Kerberos with encryption and use the terminal option to connect to

I was trying to create a query that can be exposed as a stored procedure (function actually) that would return a resultset with a random number of columns.

Unfortunately, it seems that unless I specify the ROWSPEC annotation on the Query method, I won't get any columns exposed. I was hoping to implement QueryNameGetInfo method and specify the names and number of columns I would be returning dynamically. But it seems that GetInfo information is simply ignored.

How to find a global's original namespace ? Potentially mapped from a different namespace .

I have a global ^Custom that exists in multiple namespaces but it could mapped from namespace Drone(A) to Launch(B)

Without access to Cache management portal how to find where is my global located using cache code ?

Like if ^Custom == ^[Drone]Custom ??

First sorry for the ignorance, but, as I am new in the InterSystem world, I came to the following doubt:
Thinking about a database migration. Is it possible, in a non-traumatic way, to take an Oracle database and migrate it completely to Caché?

We have a new requirement being push down by our Data Security to no longer use Local SQL Accounts to access our Databases. So they asked me to create a Service Account that is on the Domain for our connections to each database.

I tried just changing my JDBC connection to using this Service Account and Password but I am not having any luck trying to connect to the database.

I have encountered the following SQL problem trying to create a table from a SELECT statement.

I narrowed the problem down to the following example:

1. The SELECT statement alone works as expected.

SELECT m.Name, h.Status 
FROM EnsLib_HL7.Message m, Ens.MessageHeader h 
WHERE h.MessageBodyClassName='EnsLib.HL7.Message' AND h.MessageBodyID = m.ID

2. But if "CREATE TABLE ... AS" is added it fails
