We have a few projects and some of these projects share code "libraries". Some of which are persistent classes that are used by multiple systems. All these are currently deployed on Ensemble. We want to move some of the smaller ones to the cloud and make use of IRIS.

I am planning to develop a new ensemble project with REST service, requests, response, business service, process and operations in Atelier. Is there any specific folder/package structure which i can follow? Appreciate any suggestions.
This year we again introduced three annual badges on Global Masters Advocacy Hubto let you remember how much you contributed to Developer Community in 2017. Here they are:
By design, DSW provides an implementation for every widget in DeepSee library. But there are some extra features in DSW which make solutions built with DSW dashboards more functional. This article describes it.
So far, dozens of people have started the InterSystems IRIS Experience – we want to hear from you! How are you enjoying the Experience so far? Do you have any suggestions for future challenges or datasets you’d like to see? This is a space for you to interact with both InterSystems staff and your peers about the InterSystems IRIS Experience, so let us know what you think!

As part of our security standards, we can't have our applications saving our credentials. For Atelier, this means our server connections. Is there a way to stop this by saving the connection parameters, but prompting for credentials on each run? Or is there another way?
Trying to evaluate it and work out how we could use it.
As a standard application database. Object or relational etc. does not matter.
Issue is ObjectScript.
So:
1) Can we develop, maintain and use an IRIS database and never use ObjectScript i.e. use only Java, Python, C++ interfaces etc. (exactly which one does not matter)? Would that make designing and using the IRIS database more prone to inefficiency and error?
I am trying to use Entity Framework with Visual Studio 2017. After following the Intersystems documentation ("Using the Caché Entity Framework Provider") I still cannot see the data source in Server Explorer. Any ideas why?

I needed to know programmatically if last ran failed or not.
After some exploring, here's the code:
ClassMethod isLastTestOk() As %Boolean
{
set in = ##class(%UnitTest.Result.TestInstance).%OpenId(^UnitTest.Result)
for i=1:1:in.TestSuites.Count() {
#dim suite As %UnitTest.Result.TestSuite
set suite = in.TestSuites.GetAt(i)
return:suite.Status=0 $$$NO
}
quit $$$YES
}
A site has a Mirror set, and an Asynchronous DR. The disk drives for each of the instances are local disks and the databases are large (>2 TB)
The current backup strategy is started off as using Cache Backup and is still the case today, but the size and time it take t do the backup is obviously prohibitive.
I'm really interested in using Atelier for its source control ability, and I have found a fair bit of info when it comes to starting a new project and then pushing that project to a chosen source control system.
However, my environment has a lot of existing code which was developed within Studio and Ensemble, and placing entire namespaces within a single project file feels wrong.
I was wondering if there is any way to count elements from an array. I guess not as an array could be multi-dimensional and that would be a problem to return the number of elements inside the array.
I am having a problem when using atelier. I found that the web front-end related files (such as csp, css, js, etc.) will change in format when they are synced to the server.
For example:
The original format of the js file may be UTF-8. However, when I edited and saved in atelier, the file version format on the server became ANSI. I tried to configure the environment in eclipse, but it doesn't seem to work.
I am having trouble configuring the environment in eclipse have download eclipse for java script and web developers followed the video but could not connect to the server I have my Apache server 7.0 added to the java environment and I can start and stop the server through eclipse IDE but when I fire atelier and add server I get the above error any help please .This is the first time I am trying to use the plug in through eclipse .Just in case There is another installation I need to do please advice but I am guessing something to do with atelier not seeing my configurations or permissions
In part 1 and part 2 of this series we set up two user types, simpleuser and poweruser. In this part of the tutorial we create one last user type having privileges typically needed by an administrator/developer in analytics.
