Hi everyone - In IRIS we would like to arrange the access of two users in such a way that each has access to exactly one (his) database only. Which resource does this (%DB_%DEFAULT allows each of the two users access to both databases). If you create new resources (%DB_Database1 and %DB_Database2) and then add them to individual roles (each for the user to), the access for the users, for example, via a REST client does not give the desired separation (instead once Ok, other database 401 Unauthorized both OK).

Since I'm just starting to use this aspect of IRIS I can't tell if this is a bug or some kind of nuance.  If I run a single column query like this, I get results:

However if I try to retrieve using a DISTINCT or GROUP BY, I get no results:

And again except with a GROUP BY, with no results:

Hi all,

I added an additional shard node to an existing shard by accident.

After the add, it can not be removed and query from the master shard now fails. I did not find any data  from shard master in the shard node.

How to recover it and remove the shard node from the shard master?

Thanks.

Detect Hung IRIS Instance

Is there an API that can be used to remotely fetch the state of an IRIS instance similar to what is reported with "iris list"?  Specifically, I'm looking to be able to remotely detect when an IRIS instance is in "hung" state.

I know there is the "iris_system_state" metric that I can consume in Grafana, but I found that when our system was in a "hung" state, there was just no data for that metric and I'd think if you alert on that, you cannot be sure if the IRIS system is down or hung or there's just an issue with prometheus fetching stats from IRIS.

Enterprise Message Bank

Hello,

I work with IRIS for Health 2020.1 and I attempted to set up Enterprise Systems to populate Message Bank. I see entries in Message Bank Event Log from the defined Enterprise Systems.  I can browse Messages going back before I set up Enterprise Systems using Enterprise Message Viewer. However, I find no messages in Message Bank Viewer. Do I need anything extra to archive messages?

Luhn Mod N in Cache?

Hi all

I'm trying to recreate this method below in Cache/IRIS.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luhn_mod_N_algorithm ISO-7812-1 (LUHN-10)

I've been following the javascript example. It seems simple in theory but i'm struggling with which cache methods to pick.

$LENGTH, $System.SQL.FLOOR() - seem ok

$EXTRACT - I think for .charAt (though may need to correct base)

$FIND - for .indexOf

Any suggestion which would be the best ones for the job?

A vendor is sending an HL7 message where they are hitting the enter key within the field. I am looking for a way to concatenate the lines.  I want to know if there id a way to search the field for a carriage return and piece together the field.  This is an example of what they are sending:

NTE|1||Fake Interpretation A Overall Summary. Patient presents with abnormal SR and RHR.
Fake Interpretation B 80/120
Fake Interpretation C - HR 55 BPM|

I am trying to populate a table using the sql Data Import Wizard. The input file is a tab delimited text file. But the import keeps failing with a 104 error showing validation for the columns which use %Library.TimeStamp and %Boolean datatypes is failing. Yet when I insert values into the table through a SQL insert command, the values get saved correctly in the table.

For the TimeStamp format in the wizard form, I am choosing YYYY-MM-DD-HH:MI:SS because  there was no option for this format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.

Hello All,

I am just wondering if there is any inbuilt function or utility available in IRIS to clean up "null" elements from JSON e.g. I want to remove "null" elements from payload below before I do any processing with it.

{ "name":"Utsavi 1", "email":"utsavi1@gmail.com"},

}

Thanks & Regards,

More than 1 cursor in a class

I have a class that has 2 different cursors for different queries, audit1 and audit2. which are in 2 different methods. The first query runs fine, but the second one generates a 102 error.

Is there an issue with having more than 1 cursor in a class?

Has anyone seen this before?

How to use HS.JSON.Path

Has anyone used the ##class(HS.JSON.Path).%Evaluate() classmethod interrogate JSON and return a specific object value? I need to extract the MessageHeader.destination.endpoint value from a FHIR bundle and can't seem to get that XPath-like method to work.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a user-friendly way to make a method library available in DTL, and by user-friendly I mean via '..MyMethod()' or '$$$MyMacro()' rather than  '##class(MyPackage.MyClassName).MyMethod()'.

Does anybody know of a way to add a second superclass or a set of macros to a DTL ... or some other trick?

Cheers,

Otto
