A few months ago, I read this interesting article from MIT Technology Review, explaing how COVID-19 pandemic are issuing challenges to IT teams worldwide regarding their machine learning (ML) systems.

Such article inspire me to think about how to deal with performance issues after a ML model was deployed.

Request for getting Audit/Reporting info.
The ask is for a count of inbound messages by distinct identifier.

My challenge is getting the unique identifer out of the RawContent column in the EnsLib_HL7 table.

Wondering if a temp table can be created to store the value then do a join?

In the below example I am wanting to use the 999998 value in the PID.

I am looking for a general overview of how you would attach a document to a patient record in healthshare. For instance, an Advance Directive or Living Will.

Here are some starter questions:

  1. What format is required, if any? Can it be a PDF or DOC?
  2. How can/should it be submitted? HL7? XDS.b? Embedded in a CCD?

Sorry for the open endedness. Any info would be helpful while I research this.

Hi

I have been experimenting with the creation of a set of REST services for an app. The basic GET operation is set to create a %ZEN.proxyObject instance, and then set an instance of a Persistant class as a property, which gives me all of the values I want to return. However, it also gives me some values that I don't want to return over REST (because they are both private, and large registered objects which will bog down performance)

Code Golf: Multi-Tap technique

Multi-tap or multi-press is the name given to the historic technique of writing SMS on the first mobile phones with a keyboard of 10-12 numeric keys.
For example, to type LOL you need to press 5 three times, 6 three times and 5 three times again.
Your task is to write a function that takes a string as input and returns the repeated digits associated with each character according to the multi-tap system.

Does anyone have experience with CircleCI or really any automation tool using %UnitTest?

I have built my app and ran my unit test in a Docker container automated by CircleCI. However, after many of the tests failed I see:

How do you halt out of the IRIS session and return an exit code to the shell?

Introduction to Django part 2

In the first part, I've shown how to start a new project on Django, as well as define new models and add already existing models.

This time, I'll introduce an admin panel, available out of the box and how it can be useful.

Important note: do not expect that if you try to repeat actions from this post it will work for you, it does not. During the article, I had to do some fixes in the django-iris project, and even in DB-API driver made by InterSystems to fix some issues there as well, and I think this driver is still in development, and we will get more stable driver in future. Let's decide that this article only explains how it could be if we would have all done.

FHIR Bulk Data and ndjson

Hi all,

I am testing asynchronous Bulk Data retrieve with a large EHR vendor. When I retrieve the bulk data, they are returning ndjson (CONTENT-TYPE of "application/fhir+ndjson; charset=utf-8"). If I attempt to process that content using JSON functions - I get

ERROR #5035: General exception Name 'Parsing error' Code '3' Data ''

For example, the following generates the error

s objArray={}.%FromJSON(quickStreamOut)

The error makes sense in that ndjson is not a valid json format (I assume at least).

hi all,

I am looking to make a JDBC connection to my Intersystems Cache using the JDBC driver 2.0.0.

I see the connection format is as "

   jdbc:Cache://<host>:<port>/<namespace>

"

What I really want to do is filter additionally by a certain database, i.e. connect my consuming application to a database under the namespace.

how can I do that? what will be the format

Error on Trakcare Report

Hi,

I am trying to create a new report on Trakcare. I created a class file and corresponding crystal report . It works fine and data is populating when I try to run on crystal environment. But when I make a setup on Trakcare and click on print option, I am getting an error on print history " VB error in tkCrystalJob] Error number[-2147417848] Method '~' of object '~' failed [at line 421]". If I click on print preview option its going to empty browser. Inorder to setup new report, already made set up on report manager and menu manager.

Hello,

I'm trying to connect to a Caché server from Atelier; the Caché server is 2015.x.

The address and port I'm trying to connect to is the SQL gateway server; and I get, each time, an "unexpected end of file from server".

Note that unfortunately, for the moment, I connect as _system... And the Caché install has the default privileges.

What am I doing wrong?

As you have seen in the latest community publications, InterSystems IRIS has included since version 2024.1 the possibility of including vector data types in its database and based on this type of data vector searches have been implemented. Well, these new features reminded me of the article I published a while ago that was based on facial recognition using Embedded Python.

Named parameters can be achieved with SQLAlchemy :

from sqlalchemy import create_engine, text,types,engine

_engine = create_engine('iris+emb:///')

with _engine.connect() as conn:

or with native api
