I'm looking to set up monitoring for several interfaces. I understand that I can set an Inactivity Timeout. However, obviously there are messages coming through more frequently during certain hours than other hours.
Is there a way to set an Inactivity Timeout for each hour of the day instead of one value that is used all day long?
I am rather new to ObjectScript and I have a query about assigning values to the context.
In BPL I have a context variable (A08Msg) which is set to type Enslib.HL7.Message, I want to put my inbound HL7 message into this variable so I tried:
an Assign to set context.A08Msg to request
This seemed to load the message into the variable because I could read values, e.g. using context.A08Msg.{PD1:3(1).1} , but I was unable to write to context.A08Msg.
Just curious how many companies use in their work Docker containers, I mean not only with InterSystems products. And if such companies exist, which of them uses docker and doesn't use it for InterSystems products by some reasons. What are the reasons? For companies which already uses InterSystems in containers, how do you use it? Development environment, testing or even in production ?
And if you don't use but thought about it, what are the reasons which stop you.
As for me, I've been using InterSystems Caché inside a Docker container in some different cases:
I'm using a snippet I found from Scott Roth to extract, decode, and save a PDF from a HL7 message and save it to a specified file path, but I'm running issues with the following error:
My approach was to a create a utility function accessible from a DTL like this:
Hi I'm hoping the community will once more help me out with a question!
Right I have a production that takes an attachment from an email and processes it, sending out a hl7 message at the end. This works ok.
Now I just need to take the email and send it back out to a 'backup' email address, basically giving a) A backup incase there is a problem with the email or something else further down the line. b) A log of the emails receieved.
So I thought the best thing to do is have an operation with an email adapter and to send that my message.
Artificial intelligence has solved countless human challenges – and medical coding might be next. As organizations prepare for ICD-11, medical coding is about to become more complicated. Healthcare organizations in the United States already manage 140,000+ codes in ICD-10. With ICD-11, that number will rise. Some propose artificial intelligence as a solution. AI could aid computer-based medical coding systems, identifying errors, enhancing patient care, and optimizing revenue cycles, among other benefits.
I created a few classes and one class called jitPod.Api.toServer.additionalConsignments and realised even before I did any work,, that the word "Api" (note capital A) needed to be "api" (all lowercase)
it would not allow copying the class to the lowercase name because the directory already exists (i understand that)
so I exported the class to an XML, edited the xml to become lowercase "api" , deleted all the classes (and directory name) and re-imported the class.
I have a service that that I would like to use to poll the database table in MySQL server 2012 and get an id to use if the condition is met but have trouble achieving this here is what I have so far any suggestions please.
Method OnProcessInput(pInput As EnsLib.SQL.Snapshot, Output pOutput As %RegisteredObject) As %Status
{
set pRequest=##class(SamsReq).%New()
set pRequest.pID=pInput.Get("pID")
< set sc=..SendRequestSync("DQTT",pRequest,.pOutput)
quit sc
}
I have a little issue concerning the creation of an embedded PDF sent by hl7. When I Extract it, the pdf is not completed (Seen by opening it with notepad++) compared to the one I created with a Base 64 converter.

I am wondering if there is a way I can change the GUID of an instance. The use case is that I am restoring from a backup on an alternate host and start the instance there. However, the restored instance ends up with same GUID as that of source. Is there a way I can tell this newly restored instance to use a different GUID?
I have productions running in several different namespaces. They all use a common credentials ID for sending email, which is set up in only one of the namespaces. The documentation says that credentials are entered by namespace. When I ran a production in a second namespace, the error log said that credentials were not found (expected), but later attempts to send a file thorugh the production did successfully send an email. I'm wondering if Ensemble is able to look in other namespaces for the same credentials ID?
In theprevious article, we looked at one way to create a custom operator that manages the IRIS instance state. This time, we’re going to take a look at a ready-to-go operator, InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO).Official documentation will help us navigate the deployment steps.
I have some beginner questions as I am working through the InterSystems Cache learning path:
- Where I work, we us Cache, but we often learning about and train on MUMPS. No one really talks about or mentions MUMPS here, but my understanding is that ObjectScript is basically MUMPS plus whatever new things InterSystems put on top of it. Is that a fair assessment?
I was curious if anyone had attempted to link the built in FHIR support within Healthshare Healthconnect to an existing data source?
For example, having FHIR requests be received into Healthshare, and then call off to an external SQL Database to grab the data required for the response.
Hello. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar error and if so, if they can point me in the right direction. I have a client who is logging into Epic and is using the Epic SAML to single sign on to our HealthShare system. We saw that it authenticated her through (from Epic to HealthShare) but when it attempted to open up the patient, we received the following Java error. When she clicks OK, it keeps coming back. Also, she is accessing Epic through a Citrix connection (if that helps with anything). Here is the error below.
In our last lesson, we added some formatting and validation to our Edit Widget form. So, now we are ready to add the ability to add new Widgets to our application. However, the great Widget Wars have come to an abrupt end, as Widget Direct has purchased its biggest competitor, WorldWideWidgets. In order to maintain some continuity, we need to display their catalog on our new application.
I'm with a problem in a property, where she has two parameters that conflict, DISPLAYLIST and VALUELIST.
In screen when I'll go to set value in the field, the CACHE transform internally the property of LOGICAL to DISPLAY with propertynameLogicalToDisplay(propertyname), far so good.
My problem is in the property, why, by default she send the value as DISPLAYLIST, in hour of transformation as the value is DISPLAY MODE the error occurs.
How I do to that default value be VALUELIST and not DISPLAYLIST?
One of the most common kinds of integration we are asked to do is emailing. One of the most typical email services our customers use is Microsoft’s Office 365. After setting up the right configuration on the Microsoft side, we can email from IRIS with two HTTP requests.
This is my first post in the developer community - would appreciate any feedback!
For testing or demo purposes, you may want to send emails from your Interoperability Production. In this post then I will walk you through connecting an InterSystems IRIS Production to Gmail so you can use it to send emails alerts.
