When you deploy DeepSee solutions you often do not want grant a User %All Role to work with a particular Dashboard.
Consider a Dashboard 'Dash' with a few widgets where listings are being used.
If you manage a Role to get access to the Dash you need to grant access to %DB_DBNAME resource to have a database access, grant access to a Dashboard resource (if any) and ... grant SELECT accesses to all the tables involved in SQL queries being used in all the listings of widgets.
Hey all! I'd like to collect some feedback regarding searching for messages using the Message Viewer. I'd like to find out what things regarding the Message Viewer you all in the community have found difficult/confusing/poorly documented. This can of course include things that you don’t know how to do yet, but would like to learn about.
Hi All,In CSP how to call one method to another method (i.e) i created one script language as cache from that one script to another script that one also a cache script ,how to call the script.
Good afternoon. I am a new member here and was wondering if any of you can help me with creating my own instance of Healthshare with MPI. This will serve as a sandbox and a learning environment for me. What is the minimum requirement to have such an environment setup, meaning will I only need to setup HSBUS, HSREGISTRY(HUB), MPI, HSACCESS, and EDGE Gateway(s)? If so, how do I properly set them up without just installing an environment with ENSDEMO?
In the table/class HS_Registry.document there is a column/property named RepositoryUniqueId. There are about 14 unique values, which pretty much lines up with the number of our "Push" (Provide & Register) participants and thus unique document repositories. However, these values just look like OIDs. I've been searching for over an hour and I can't find anywhere that will provide me some context to these "Repository IDs".
Anyone have ideas or suggestions where I could find this info?
We announce the Second Developer Community Contest:
Developer Community MVP of the March!
The rules are the same: win Developer Community MVP award in March and receive a free registration to the Solution Developers Conference at InterSystems Global Summit 2016!
In the first part, I've shown how to start a new project on Django, as well as define new models and add already existing models.
This time, I'll introduce an admin panel, available out of the box and how it can be useful.
Important note: do not expect that if you try to repeat actions from this post it will work for you, it does not. During the article, I had to do some fixes in the django-iris project, and even in DB-API driver made by InterSystems to fix some issues there as well, and I think this driver is still in development, and we will get more stable driver in future. Let's decide that this article only explains how it could be if we would have all done.
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but I am struggling to setup TLS security for our IRIS Management Portal and etc. through Apache and the Web Gateway. I have a couple of questions when it comes to the setup.
if I build a private key and certificate within Red Hat, does that certificate have to be on everyone's pc to connect to the Management Portal?
Can I use a self signed Certificate?
Can I use the existing CA on the server, or do I need to work with my Data Security team to get a Certificate?
I'm attempting to convert a date from UTC to my locale, and for some reason I can't seem to get the Ensemble ConvertDateTime Utility Function to detect the timezone to then convert. I'm hoping it's just a syntax issue, and that someone can show me the error of my ways.
There are some classes in our code base that contain Methods only (no properties). I told my colleagues that converting them into the ClassMethods should improve performance as it would eliminate unnecessary OREF support at run-time. Some of them replied that it would be microseconds, so what is the reason to bother.
Is it possible to estimate the impact of OREF support of method calls at run-time? E.g., as a % of all CPU load.
The InterSystems IRIS data platform underlies all InterSystems applications, as well as thousands of customer and partner applications across Healthcare, Financial Services, Supply Chain, and other ecosystems. It is a converged platform, providing transactional-analytical data management, integrated interoperability, and data integration, as well as integrated analytics and AI. It supports the InterSystems Smart Data Fabric approach to managing diverse and distributed data.
At the moment I am trying to write a documentation file for a project and intend to use LaTeX for it. Has anyone already had experience with this? I haven't found syntax highlighting with the LaTeX packages I know yet. I found a request on Pygment but it was from 2016 and there was no reply on it since then.
Does anyone know a simple way for syntax highlighting COS in LaTeX? Thanks for your input!
I'm not sure what the purpose of this is, but the Management Console causes the browser to refresh periodically. If you're in a form or an editor such as the DTL or Routing Rule editors, you may lose work unless you save frequently. This did not occur in Caché 2018 and earlier releases.
I've had a couple of incidents where I've created a number of rules in the DTL editor, answered the phone or stepped away for a few minutes, then come back to find any work since the last save erased.
I've noticed this in both 2019 and 2020 releases of IRIS.
In part 1 we started working on a security model for DeepSee and create a user type having privileges typical of end users. In this part we are going to create a second user type with ability to edit and create DeepSee pivot tables and dashboards.
