That’s a good question! You get 300 points for your first-ever comment on DC — and it comes with a badge too. Then, 30 points for every subsequent one. We’ll update the table to make this clearer.

Now I really like the idea of awarding bonus points to the author of the first answer to a question 😄 — maybe we should introduce something like that!
