We are trying to migrate old server to new infrastructure and need to sync all the DTL cls from old one to new one. There are hundreds of DTL in system and we tried to export from production but cannot select all at once which might cause some missing classes. Not able to connect to studio or atelier with that server neither. Is there any way that we are able to do mass export from system which will save some effort? Please let me know your thoughts. I have the requirement to dump large result sets into files. I am currently using %SQL.Statement and the result set created by it.

The DisplayFormatted is used to write a CSV. The query I used to test does not contain any filters, it is just a select * from a table with 16 million rows.
The file created is 2GB in size. The issue I have is that it takes 8 hours to create this file.

I am trying to read some binary data from a local file or through socket.

The binary data is like H.264 codec, I need to read data BYTE by BYTE (even BIT by BIT) and decide the next step based on the data read so far.

I check the documentation and it seems like most of the sample focus on human readable IO, ie: LINE by LINE.

Could I achieve my goal through COS?

I'm processing POP3 emails using the standard EnsLib.EMail.InboundAdapter adapter and %Net.MailMessage. I'm basically processing documents that are attached to received emails. This works fine if the document is simply attached to the email itself. But some systems are sending documents that are attached to an attached email which has content-type = message/rfc822.

How do I get the attached file from the attached email?

Besides objectscript's own list, array data structure, are there any other data structures that have been implemented, similar to the "collection" package in java, or is there a ready sorting tools for the collection class.

As service we've got a EnsLib.File.PassthroughService which picks up a csv file

As operation we've got a EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation which writes the Excel file.

In the middle:

We've created an Business Process with an %Stream.GlobalCharacter in the Request and a %Stream.GlobalCharacter in the Response.

If you want to import data from a mySQL export file (exported with mysqldump), you will find here a little script that could help.

Only the INSERT commands in the sql file are executed into Caché. Indices are not computed for better performance.
%NOINDEX, %NOCHECK and %NOLOCK are generated on each INSERT line.

Currently, the file can not contain a "),(" pattern inside the values part of the INSERT command. If this is the case, the line is skipped. This feature may be implemented in the extractValuesList method.
