VSCode New Files

The company I work for have a repository for one of our products which already contains both InterSystems and non-InterSystems source code. I'm in the process of trying to migrate us over to using VSCode to edit the InterSystems source but am stuck on some issues surrounding the files on disk and the routines in the IRIS instance.

I'm working for an organisation that is running a very old version of InterSystems Cache (5.016) which runs on AIX . The last two times we have re-booted Cache, we have encountered rollbacks. I've been asked two questions. During the rollback it was "How long is it going to take?" and after the system returned, it was "So what caused it?". My answer to both was "I don't know".

Using Arrow with left join

Hi Guys,

my understanding that Arrow can't be used in left or right joins as the example below, so is there an alternative ? 

SELECT Sample.Employee.Name, Sample.Company.Name AS CompName
FROM Sample.Employee LEFT OUTER JOIN Sample.Company
ON Sample.Employee.Company->Name = Sample.Company.Name

We have some code written by earlier team that read flat files data and create SDAs and push them to ECR Input Service. Now for every test cycle we have to load files to SDAs, check error log, fix the error, clear the ECR, and try new fixed flat files. I’d like to know if there is a method to validate SDA msgs prior to pushing to EFR Input operations ?

so everything we simple load flat files, create SDAs and validate them. If files all looks good with no SDA errros then we actually load them to ECR only once.

Cache Update Query

Hi,

     I am trying to update an year on a date field in a cache database table but it showing an error message. But the functions are working on select query. The query I used is

update RB_ResEffDateSessPayorRestr SET RESTR_DATETo = DATEADD(YYYY,1,RESTR_DATETo) where YEAR(RESTR_DATETo)=2020

I tried to update only the year which are 2020.

Can anyone please help me, Is there any error in the query?

Hi,

we are moving an existing ZEN-Application to a new version of Caché (2017.2.2). It is a rather old application and we need to do some modifications due to the thightend security of ZEN in this and prior release (we came from 2013.1). One of the changes required is to alter a table Name of a ZEN-Table on the server-side. Anyway this gives us a problem, since we receive an error

ERROR #5001: Client modification of protected property ( tableName) disallowed for security reasons.
SOURCELEMENT: %ZEN.Component.tablePane (tpSimilarity)

I have made a complete copy of our test namespace into a secondary test namespace. Thereby we can test with our current EHR version and our soon to be deployed EHR version simultaneously. However, we have a number of saved searches within the Message Viewer that we would like to have available within our secondary namespace. Is it possible to export the saved searches within the message viewer?

When I open a BPL in Atelier and right click 'Open diagram editor' I get a Java Incompatible browser error message (see below).

I'm using Windows 8.1, Atelier 1.0.190 and IE 11.

All the M.S. updates are up to date.

I also have firefox and chrome installed.

Trying to change default browsers etc. did not work.

1. Migrating class definitions

To migrate the class definition to another system, export it to a file in XML format or UDL format (extension .cls).

The export procedure in Studio is as follows.

Tools > Export

> Select multiple classes you want to migrate with the [Add] button

> Check [Export to local file]

Hi,

I am trying to use the newly introduced adapter EnsLib.CloudStorage.InboundAdapter to pull files from azure blob container for the purpose of ECG scaling.

The ultimate goal would be- more than one services running to pull the files from a blob container and process them further. I am not sure if there would be any concurrency issue on that. So working on a poc to pull the data from server and test it out.

Email Template

Does anyone have any pointers or maybe familiarity of making Email templates in Objectscript?

I'm currently trying to implement Televisits with our system and am needing to send an email to the patient. I'd like to make it a nicer looking email which will require a good amount of inline CSS. I currently have a method, but is very much a sore sight for the eyes.

I was wondering if there was a way I could use Embedded HTML and pass that into the DO msg.TextData.Write command with the ##class(%Net.MailMessage)?

Hi Community,

I have json equivalent persistent object in pjsonObj variable. Final JSON example below.

Here FileContent field in json will contain converted base64 string of very large pdf(10pages). I need to submit this json as a payload to REST endpoint.
