I'm facing a base growth issue, which is being generated by a process and an Ensemble feature.

When executing the process of cleaning up the message queues, the Ensemble “preserves” the Streams that were part of these messages, deleting only the Header and Body. In this way the database (of one of the namespaces) has grown around 60GB per day, which has been maxing out the disk capacity.

InterSystems informed that this is a characteristic and that it is explained in the documents mentioned below.

Most of my classes are mapped from Globals. I want to access Cache classes from a BI software through ODBC connection.

'Last update' information does not exist in most of the classes. My question is whether there is a 'last update' timestamp that is automatically generated for each line in classes I can extract to external systems?

InterSystems has decided to stop further development of the InterSystems IRIS Natural Language Processing, formerly known as iKnow, technology and label it as deprecated as of the 2023.3 release of InterSystems IRIS. InterSystems will continue to support existing customers using the technology, but does not recommend starting new development projects outside of the core text exploration use cases it was originally designed for.

The product I'm using is HealthConnect ( this installation HSAP-2017.1.1.111.0.17521-hscore15.03-b8382-win_x64.exe). Do I have access to the Information Exchange Clinical Viewer ? Is there a way to install this and connect it up to my HealthShare FHIR repository?

As a result of Evgeny's recent questions regarding the use of QEWD.js with IRIS in another post, I thought it would be a good idea to create a separate post focusing specifically on how to use QEWD.js to create REST APIs for IRIS.

QEWD.js is, of course, a Node.js framework, and all the REST API code can be written entirely in JavaScript.

Do you know how to create workflow users and roles programmatically?
I use Docker for test deploy and I need to set up IRIS Interoperability using the install script.

Maybe do you know how to import/export already existing workflow users and roles?

when i connect to DB via DBeaver , it always report Connection refused, i tried both Cache and IRIS but same error, I have already download intersystems-jdbc-3.2.0.jar as IRIS Driver.

And meanwhile SqlDBx tool is able to connect via internal Intersystems Cache Driver.

If you are seeing this error during import: ERROR #6301 Line: 2 Offset: 118 This does not appear to be a Cache exported file, unable to import.

This error is caused by exporting from InterSystems IRIS and trying to import into Caché. If you plan on exporting from IRIS to Caché, you can use the following qualifier to export your classes so that Caché does not throw an error on import:

w $SYSTEM.OBJ.Export(<items>,<filename>,"/exportversion=cache2018.1")

We will be transitioning from a server running HP OpenVMS to one running RHEL 7. The main question some of the team had was what would be the best method for moving the globals to the new system.

Also, I was wondering if any others have transitioned from OpenVMS to RHEL. If so, were there any kinks that we should be aware of prior to transition?
