Hello,

I'm new to Iris for Health and I'm trying to get some experience using it. I've subscribed to the Intersystems Iris for Health software in AWS marketplace. I successfully spun up the EC2 instance with the default security group. The try-iris instance is healthy and successfully starts within EC2. I've also successfully changed the default password too.

However, I'm unable to authenticate into the management portal. The portal launches okay though I keep getting an access denied. I'm also unable to authenticate into a session from the EC2 instance.

Hello everyone,

i am in process of changing our authentication method, so we can integrate our AD authentication in our programs. At the moment i am using they %SYS.LDAP object, and trying to use the .Bind() method with the user information to authenticate. This seems to work without issues, but here the problems start.

Hi,

Cache Studio's inspector window can show me a Cache class's properties, methods parameters, XDATA blocks, Triggers, Foreign Keys, Queries and more, in a table in the Inspector window. Additionally, for properties, where the property accepts parameters, these parameters are listed together with possible value choices.

I am trying to calculate a dimension percentage for WFRole on a child cube named MbMRouteHistoryInitiatorObj joined to a parent cube named MbmQaSObj by using a calculated member dimension within MbmQaSObj.

If I use the calculated member dimension value expression of [WFRole].[H1].[WFRole].CurrentMember/ [WFRole].[All WFRole].%ALL in the child cube MbMRouteHistoryInitiatorObj, the percentages work correctly.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for the syntax or the way to use a class created in the "BNA" Namespace (my application) from the %SYS Namespace.

Here is the context:

I have a "BNA" application contained in the "BNA" NS, this application provides a user creation functionality. This feature creates both the user in a table in the application and in the Iris system.

Hi Guys,

I'm using the below to export a query result to excel file and the only file type is .csv (100) but the resulting has two problems,

first the row header is including the field type and second the resulting file is a tab delimited so columns aren't properly separated (see attached below)

set st = ##class(%SQL.Statement).%New(2,"Sample")
set sql = "select ID, name from MyClass"
do st.%Prepare(.sql)
set type="csv"
set rs = st.%Execute()
do rs.%DisplayFormatted(type,"C:\Temp\report")

Like hardware hosts, virtual hosts in public and private clouds can develop resource bottlenecks as workloads increase. If you are using and managing InterSystems IRIS instances deployed in public or private clouds, you may have encountered a situation in which addressing performance or other issues requires increasing the capacity of an instance's host (that is, vertically scaling).

I'm trying to write a method to Export SQL Privileges from an instance by namespace, user, or roles. I've found two classes that might work:

  • ##class(Security.Users).Export
  • ##class(Security.SQLPrivileges).Export

One (Security.Users) exports an XML file and the other (Security.SQLPrivileges) exports an SQL file.

Hi,

I am new to Cache' MV but have extensive experience with other Pick flavors especially Unidata.

I need to determine the impact of adding several indexes to a large file with over 51,000,000 records.

On other systems, I could use FILE.STAT, ANALYZE.FILE and shell to the OS to determine how large the index file was.

None of those seem to be available in Cache' MV. Shelling to the OS just tells me the size of CACHE.DAT.

What is the best way to determine what the disk impact would be if I added an index (CREATE-INDEX) to a file?

TIA,

Steve

Hi,

We have a application developed in CSP and JS. Is there any way to make this application available in multiple language like Spanish etc.

We are ready to re-write the code in Zen also if it supports that feature.

Could any one of you please assist/advice a Solution to reach the required goal using Cache technologies, it will be a great help if someone has any sample code for the same.

Thanks

Paras

Hello,

Still related to the unit test with coverage support project, one goal is to make that package available to everyone.

One possible way I already know of is that all fully qualified class names (ie, the package + the class name) start with %, which mean that on installation all classes will end up in the %SYS namespace, but this requires that the install be done as a user with the necessary privileges to write to %SYS.

There is a finite list of date formats that users want to use to enter a date in a form. These formats include single digits for month and day and double digits for year. The field is represented by a dateText control.

How would one get to allow a dateText control to accept multiple date formats ? I see only 3 listed here, do those include using single digits for month and day ?
