For testing or demo purposes, you may want to send emails from your Interoperability Production. In this post then I will walk you through connecting an InterSystems IRIS Production to Gmail so you can use it to send emails alerts.

We are working with a vendor who only accepts JSON as payload. We are currently still on Cache/HealthShare, not IRIS. Since we have to send Continuity of Care Documents, this raises issues with Long Strings (some CCDs can be quite large and in addition to that, they have to be b64-encoded which increases their size even more).

My question is: if we were to go on IRIS and use %JSON.Adapter, storing the encoded Stream in an object's Stream property, would calling %JSONExport() on this object produce the desired JSON? Or would we have to call %JSONExportToStream()?

techniques to in short words "understand what are you talking about".

And FHIR is...???

FHIR stands for Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources and is a standard to data structures for healthcare. There are
some good articles here explainig better how FHIR interact with Intersystems IRIS.

Preview releases are now available for the 2019.4 version of InterSystems IRIS, IRIS for Health, and IRIS Studio!

Container images are available via the WRC's preview download site.

The build number for these releases is 2019.4.0.379.0.

It is clear how to get the request header value with a specific name:

But I can't figure out how to enumerate ALL the request headers (and also get all values).

We can load a CCDA xml document into SDA3 object.

Once parsing SDA3 object, how do we determine from which XPATH from CCDA the specific SDA3 elements were mapped to.

Is there any way?

With the latest improvements in support for Python in IRIS, and continued work on Python DB-API support by InterSystems. I've implemented IRIS support to the Django project where is Python DB-API is used to work with some other databases.

Let's try a simple application on Django, which stores its data in IRIS.
