I am still working on iris-for-money app: https://github.com/oliverwilms/iris-for-money

Account.csp posts a rest call with _SYSTEM username and the password.

xhttp.open("POST", "/restapi/sql/" + query, true,"_SYSTEM","SYS");
xhttp.send();

/restapi web application has Password Authentication Method enabled.

SYS is the correct password for _SYSTEM user.

I do not understand why I see login failure in Audit database.

Hi there,

I'm passing a JSON object to the server as such:

{"key":"value","key":"value","key":"value"}

From the client:

- Build object

object=JSON.stringify(object)

-pass to server side method as %String

On the server:

s object={}.FromJSON(object)

Instead of getting something like

object=<OBJECT REFERENCE>[2@%Library.DynamicObject]

I get

object="991@%Library.DynamicObject"

I can't access that object using %Get as if says invalid OREF.

Hi all!

I'm currently trying to find out how to have one Web Gateway route to multiple servers Management Portal. The only thing that I have come up with so far is to potentially make different routes per server?

I have a development, test, and production server and I want to use the same Gateway server using IIS to do SSL/TLS encryption for the CSP pages.

Any ideas or recommendations to pull this off?

ZPM is a great tool.
You can compose a large WebApplication following the existing examples.
But differently, to Classes, Routines, Macros, or Globals I found no direct way
to deploy a few additional CSP pages directly into an existing Namespace
without touching the existing content.

A side issue was to find a solution that is independent of WIN or Linux directories.

Is there a way, for testing purposes at least, to change a CSP session over to a different user? We have a lot of things in our system that are allowed or restricted based on the user login, so it would be useful for me to be able to occasionally run as a different user to see how things look and work for them. I've tried using the %CSP.Session.Login function, but that still shows the CSP session as being from the original user, not the one I've switched to.

Cloudflare and CSP

Hi,

Has anyone experienced any issues when using Cloudflare in front of a csp application?

I keep getting 502 errors when Cloudflare is active?

Strangely, the SMP works but only if I remove the trailing question mark from the url but it doesn't resolve the issue when I try any other csp application URL's.

I have a CSP page that throw a "414 error - Request-URI Too Long" when I put lot of text (eg : 10000 characters) into a field of a submitted form. The form is submitted using POST method.

Based on some experiments I made, it seems the max size of a URL is around 8200 characters.

What is the official limit, and is there a way to increase it ? I searched in the documentation but couldn't find anything.

I want to add time slot and category metadata to complete my cinema application.

I am following the documentation of the cinema application "https://docs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/Doc.View.cls?KEY=TWEB2_..." and in that,

I was trying to add theater and time slot. But I was not able to do that.

I was also trying to filter the records as per the ratings and category selection on the search bar. but this is showing some error.

Why do I upload files faster with webservice than with csp?

The soap protocol used by webservice has to go through http protocol. csp directly handles http, no xml encapsulation, so it should be faster.

After testing, for a 1M file, csp is about 0.1s slower. After the gateway connection to 1972, there is a stall of about 0.1s, not sure why.

Is there any way to make the file upload speed of csp faster than webservice?

webservice用的soap协议也得走http呀。csp直接处理http，少了xml的封装，按理来说应该更快。

经测试，1M的文件，csp慢了0.1s左右。在网关连接到1972后，有0.1s左右的停滞，不知道原因。

Hi all,

I'm performing a migration of some services from one instance to another, and I noticed that the technique defined within the InterSystems Server Migration Guide does not include OAuth client configurations. The recommended technique is to use the ##class(Security.System).ExportAll() and ##class(Security.System).ImportAll() methods.

Is there a way to migrate OAuth client configurations, or do those have to be re-created manually?

Hello,

I'm using $ZF(-1) in a class method which will be invoked from a csp page.

What determines the environment of the spawned process? If I use $ZF(-1,"echo hello world > output.txt"), the resulting file is owned by cacheusr:cacheusr. However, when I use $ZF(-1,"printenv > output.txt"), the environment is from my personal unix account, no matter which Cache username I'm logged in under when running the web application.
