I have inherited a web-based database application and I'm having a hard time understanding the sequence of events when CSP pages are opened. I have very limited web development experience.

Can anyone recommend a good resource for explaining this? I have already gone through the Cache Cinema tutorial and the Cache CSP documentation.

I use the 2012 version of the caché, and I need to export data in an Excel file, the point that seems to complicate is to use the dropdown list in the cell and then trigger a validation if I exceed an interval of two values.

I would like to add a try / catch block between the write statements.
I can't refactor the whole code and use indentation with curly braces instead (there is too much code, not written by me)

I've recently encountered a HS Caché that won't start informing that Collation 30 is not available, but I have not found an easy way of knowing what collation is 30.

I've found that the following command returns the ones from the current locale, but not from all locales:

A question has come up that I am not finding the answer for.... Does the daily purge process re-index EnsLib.HL7.SearchTable or other SQL tables? In looking at the purge process documentation I am not seeing anything that mentions EnsLib.HL7.SearchTable. Do we have to manually constantly re-index tables that we create? For example I created another search table based off of EnsLib.HL7.Search table, will I need to constantly watch this as it grows? How do tables get index, is there some kind of mechanism that automatically does it, or are we responsible for indexing tables ourselves?

When dealing with a support issue of one of our Deltanji source control sites this week I learned that if you're using InterSystems versions earlier than 2018.1 on Unix-type platforms it's possible that a class you export in UDL format will subsequently fail to import. So I'm posting this information here in case it helps other folk.

I got a problem to resolve, to sum it up I need to extract a function body from a JS file with cos.
I already got the JS code in a string and the function name but I'm kinda stuck as to how to get my function body, I already tried a few things (regEx, counter bracket) but there are comment and strings that block them from functioning. Is there a javascript parser or a good way to do it except by creating a javascript parser?

So you have a namespace with thousands of .INT files and you want to identify routines that have not been executed in say the last 5 years. How would you do that without amending any existing software?
