How to find a global's original namespace ? Potentially mapped from a different namespace .

I have a global ^Custom that exists in multiple namespaces but it could mapped from namespace Drone(A) to Launch(B)

Without access to Cache management portal how to find where is my global located using cache code ?

Like if ^Custom == ^[Drone]Custom ??

JSON challenge

Hello folks,

I have an JSON object that need to be updated before being parsed into a JSX component.

Source JSON obj:

My scenario is:

I have a Cache method that

call a REST -> JSON -response > INSERT/UPDATE the source table of a DeepSee Cube -> Update the Cube only for this change -

I want to view in .NET Application the changes. For that I want that this method should be executed at a defined interval.

Or maybe the solution is a Refresh button in .NET page. is there any way to access a Cache method from .NET?

Any idea how to do it?

I'm trying to recreate a smaller copy of our DEV machine on a sandbox instance. I installed a new instance, and thought it would be a good idea to copy over a few cache.dat files from the critical namespaces (but not all of them), and start from there.

Message Profiling

Hi all,

I was wondering if InterSystems offers any message profiling capabilities. What I mean by "message profiling" is essentially stats or metrics gathered from a collection of data submissions of a particular type. For instance, average number of segments <XYZ> in a specific HL7 V2 message type. Or the number of sections found in a HL7 V3 CDA documents.

Curious if there is anything like this provided "out-of-box".

Hi everyone!

I am trying to choose the best collation for a new application that will be running on a spanish locale (Chile).

I can see there are database collations for Spanish1, Spanish2, Spanish4 and Spanish5. What is the difference between them? I can't find anything on our documentation. Should I simply choose the latest (Spanish5)?

We have JSON type data in a Dynamic Object. Is there a simple way to export / dump that data to a delimited string or file?

e.g.

We are running Batch job in scheduled task and the messages are picking in single session and it is not easy to trace the record.

I used the Set ..%SessionId= "" at before sending the message to BP but I see the session Id is '1' created for each message.

Is there anyother way to create new session for each message sending to BP?

Creating a Custom IRIS Container

I think there have been articles published here before but I'm struggling to find them:

I'd like to be able to create my own customised version of the official IRIS Community Edition Container, eg with Node.js and a number of modules pre-installed. So, for example, can I create my own Dockerfile that begins with something like:

FROM containers.intersystems.com/intersystems/iris-community-arm64:2023.2.0.227.0

and then I can add my own stuff to it?

... or is there another recommended approach?

I am looking into creating a ZSTOP as you probably have seen from my previous posts, is there a way to capture the type of shutdown that occurred? So say if there was an unknown hardware failure (forced), vs a user shutdown? Mainly looking for user or system shutdown when we force another destination to become the primary in the mirror. So if a user shutdown the production to do.,... Task A, Task B etc..

Hi guys,

Does rebuilding of Data Quality Manager cubes affect patient index linkage definition data?

What I want to understand is, does DQM have any negative impact on the data each time you rebuild the cubes.

Additionally, if I make changes to the cube and rebuild it..will this have any impact on the original data?

Hello.

I want to grant access only to the Message Viewer page to an specific user, in all Namespaces. I have created a rol with this privileges:

%Ens_MessageContent
%Ens_MessageHeader
%Ens_MessageTrace
%Ens_Portal

But if I want to see the list of messages, I have to grant SELECT access to the Ens.MessageHeader and Ens.MessageBody tables of each Namespace.

Is there anyway to grant access to this tables in all Namespaces at a time, even if new ones are created?

For Cache client install automation, where are the remote server settings stored on a Windows 10 PC?

Are they stored in the registry? I found the Cache registry key, but it only lists the remote server address and not the ports.

Are they stored in an INI file? If so, I haven't found it yet.
