We are migrating from Ensemble 2018 to the latest IRIS, and while compiling we get many of these errors in our queries:

I have a class with two methods

Class Foo.Bar
{

ClassMethod Helper()
{
// do something
}

ClassMethod Generated() [ CodeMode = objectgenerator ]
{
do ..Helper()
// do something else
}

}

Since the method Generated is run before the class is compiled, the call to do ..Helper() fails. Is there a way around this other than manual inlining?

A Quick Start to InterSystems Cloud SQL Data in Databricks

I need to be able to take the size of the request from a given %CSP.request

however it seems the best the docs suggest is to get the length of characters in the request (using $order and Get, Count)...
this is not good enough for what I need to do, Any suggestions?
I scanned the docs and couldn't find anything.

In cache studio there are features, dialog boxes, that help map data from a global to class properties.
I have used %CacheSQLStorage quit a bit, or have in the past, to map globals to classes.

I haven't been able to find a similar feature in VisualStudio.
Do I need to upgrade to IRIS to be able to use VisualStudio to map global properties to classes?

I'm having a few issues with keeping Ubuntu happy and stable, and it seems to be something at the OS level rather than within IRIS itself. My thought is to simply pare back the stuff that Ubuntu LTS runs by default, which will free up system resources (which really shouldn't be a problem, but it might help) and reduce the amount that can go wrong.

Are there any guides as to what can be safely disabled at boot time, or are required to be enabled?

I try to get a vector from calling GetEmbedding, but i failed to convert it into a vector

Hi there,

My purpose is to encrypt a communication using JWT tokens. I am developing on IRIS and my purpose is to generate a JWT token that will run on an older version of Cache (so I have to use functions that are compatible with the older version, Cache).

I wrote this code in IRIS:

set et = ##class(%OAuth2.Utils).TimeInSeconds($ztimestamp, 60*15)

I was not able to get IAM working on my Development Server because of issues with creating volumes as a Non root user, so I opted to run it within Docker on my WSL Ubuntu locally. I was able to get it running, however the Workspaces is empty, and the Dev Portal is not enabled.

At this point do I need to sign up for the free Kong Konnect? or what are the next steps?
