Hi,

InterSystems IRIS has long supported the obvious translation functions required to for converting to upper or lowercase to enforce case-insensitive string comparison (e.g. in ObjectScript with $zconvert) and sorting (e.g. with SQL collation functions, not to be confused with NLS collation). Customers in international contexts have at times used custom workarounds to also treat accent insensitivity or even more advanced normalization duct tape. We’re looking to address such use cases at the system and SQL level to increase convenience for this international audience, which is well represented on the Developer Community.

Most examples I've seen so far in OEX or DC left the impression that VECTORs
are just something available with SQL with the 3 Functions especially around VECTOR_Search.

Is there a way to prettify the JSON streams in the incoming HTTP messages so that they are more readable in Visual Trace?

The HTTP messages sent by many software aren't prettified and are displayed like this in the Visual Trace:

On the other hand, other software like Postman prettify the messages and they are displayed in this way:

Hello programmers I would like to build a simple app where I could register data from a user like a name, age, and the phone just to practice, but for that, I would like to build the frontend and backend and also I need to be able to insert, update and delete information.

On TESTTC02, I'm getting the error:
"Missing Mirrored Databases Report"

1. What causes this problem?
2. How do I fix it?

i'm starting to try to switch to VS Code with ISC integration plugins.
Everything seems fine until i get to and environment with CCR enabled. I can't open any class in RW and i don't know how to check the class out.

Is it supported? What do i need to do to use it?

Hi, I was working with %sStream.FileBynary and following the doc when I find an info that I'm not sure of.
In the part of the doc where it talks about saving streams, it does not precise where it is saved.
I tried to fill my stream, then rewind, then set the file and finally saved.
And it puts in my default directory with the temporary name.
If I do a zwrite of my stream, I get these properties about the file and directory.
(StoreFile) = "zKc2m8v1.stream"
(NormalizedDirectory) = "C:\InterSystems\Community\mgr\user\stream\"

Recently we published on Docker Hub images for InterSystems IRIS Community Edition and InterSystems IRIS Community for Health containers.

What is that?

There is a repository that publishes it, and in fact, it is the same container IRIS Community Edition containers you have on official InterSystems listing which have the pre-loaded ObjectScript Package Manager (ZPM) client.

So if you run this container with IRIS CE or IRIC CE for Health you can immediately start using ZPM and install packages from Community Registry or any others.

What does this mean for you?

It means, that anyone can deploy any of your InterSystems ObjectScript application in 3 commands:

• run IRIS container;
• open terminal;
• install your application as ZPM package.

It is safe, fast and cross-platform.

It's really handy if you want to test a new interesting ZPM package and not harm any of your systems.

In early versions of IRIS it was classname_"D", like ^Sample.PersonD. Now, at least in IRIS 2022.1 it is something random.
