Hi Community,

We need to export last 5 days Ens.MessageHeader data for a specific messages into file. I have written custom code to execute SQL query in object script.

Could somebody help me to iterate resultSet and write the data to text file.

We have been storing raw messages in a MySQL database for DR and ad hoc purposes. We are thinking of using an Ensemble instance as our data lake instead. We could segregate the source data by namespace or by global. But either way we'll want a custom global to index the data for data retrieval performance purposes.

Anyone else taking this approach? Any feedback?

Routing Rule Usage -

Can we use Functions and Methods with multiple parameters and refer objects by reference as parameters inside Routing rule ?

How do we handle DB related workflows in Business Rules ?
How can we perform Response object based handling in Business Rules ?
Can we try by extending methods with Ens.Util.FunctionSet and pass in the Context object from the rule as a parameter for certain functions ?
Can we split the Business Operations into methods that can be used from the routing rules and create the message route request flow ?

The phone number field for the PID segment was customized to send email address in PID 13.4. How can I remove the email address to map only the phone number to the PID 13.1 field?

How do i see the HTTP Request which is going out using Message Viewer or Trace? I want to see the entire message with the Headers and Body.

Hi,

In my routing rules I'd like to work with multiple rulesets. When running the proces, it only seems to execute the first ruleset.

Is it possible to have multiple rulesets active in the same business rule, or is there another way to not have to jam all rules in the same ruleset?

Hi, I'm still very much new at Ensemble DTL. I am trying to set up an algorithm that requires loading fields from an OBX into an Array. I don't think that I know how to iterate through the OBXs. I know that there is a "for loop", that I will try to play with, but in the mean time, could someone tell me what is wrong with the following?

For example the code below works when I hard code the number 1 in OBXgrp(1)

Is there any way to extend the lookup table to have more than one value against a key?

I have accidentally clicked the remember password option in my Ensemble studio. So it is now not asking for username and password and even the authentication popup is not showing every time i open the studio.

Is there anyway to remove the remember password option for the cache studio.

I want to execute initialization code on the start of my business process.

I thought OnInit is a way to go, but apparently not - ^dbg global remains empty:

As per the documentation of QueueCountAlert:
Number of messages on this item's queue needed to trigger an Alert message to be sent. Note that no further alerts will be sent unless the number of messages on the queue drops below 80% of this number and then rises again to this number.
Note that this alert will be sent even if AlertOnError is False.
Zero means no alerts of this type will be sent.

Now, the question is,
If QueueCountAlert is set to 10, and the queue size become 11 we will be getting email once.

Request for getting Audit/Reporting info.
The ask is for a count of inbound messages by distinct identifier.

They have a Caché-based application, and an Ensemble production deployed in front as an ESB to provide web service API access to the back end application. They're looking for a best practice approach for the scenario where the Caché back end is calling a third-party web service. Should that go through Ensemble too? It's sort of a philosophical design question/debate.
