Hi everyone. I'm new to cache, and i was looking for a command who reads a .txt file and store the informations in variables. I've found on the documentation the EnsLib.SQL.SNapshot class, and, even if i'm not sure if that's what i need, when i run the code it says that the class doesn't exist, but i couldn't find the right superclass to extend.

I use the 2012 version of the caché, and I need to export data in an Excel file, the point that seems to complicate is to use the dropdown list in the cell and then trigger a validation if I exceed an interval of two values.

I am looking to run some analysis on existing software to quickly identify global variable references. Ideally you would feed in a "starting routine" and after going through all referenced routines you would end up with a finite set of global variables. So the primary purpose is to take say 10,000 lines of code and map out the referenced global structures without relying on a programmers eye. I found the post on Object Script equivalent to Studio "Find in Files" interesting but the downside is that output is too verbose and would require parsing to extract the global structures. How would you override writing to the terminal so that you could parse the data?

In MX any global can be displayed on a sheet in the form of a table.

Hello Intersystems-Community,

I build an API and there I use $order to get the Data from my Globals.
When I first time use that API it's get an error (504 Gateway-Timout > 60 Sec.).

After 2 reloads it works with a loading time of 2 Sec.! Sounds for me like the $order is cached and it works faster. Is it true $order will be cached?

When it works, I only get the error at the next day. So it's very hard to reproduce that error. Is it possible to delete the cache for $order?

I have a little issue concerning the creation of an embedded PDF sent by hl7. When I Extract it, the pdf is not completed (Seen by opening it with notepad++) compared to the one I created with a Base 64 converter.

I noticed when creating Record Map's within Ensemble that it is creating a Persistent cache table as it translates the file and puts it into the Record Map data structure.

I was wondering if there was a way to add a column to the cache table that is Hidden from the record map, but is a calculated date value on when that record was inserted?

Hello, I have an SSL / TLS configuration that used TLSv1.0 encryption.

However, I need to update to the TLS 1.2 version of encryption, and apparently Caché 2012.1 does not support it according to this link: https://community.intersystems.com/post/tls-v12-support-cach%C3%A9

Can I add a library to the Cache, enable TLSv1.2 in some way, or just a version update?

I have a passthru REST setup using EnsLib.HTTP.GenericService and EnsLib.HTTP.GenericOperation. Works well.

I am adding some logic to the Operation and for some scenarios I want to return an HTTP 40x response status code.
