I've mapped multiple tables (UNION on mapped SQL classes) into a view, using CREATE VIEW.

Through ODBC, in Entity Framework, I am querying against that view and offering paging. The paging is implemented using IQueryable.Skip and IQueryable.Take.

Skip seems to have unexpected results, I believe due to incorrect SQL generated by the Entity Framework provider, though perhaps I've done something incorrectly. The generated SQL looks similar to this (with some bits replaced or altered for security reasons), the basic structure is unaltered.

I tried using the DeepSee Troubleshooting guide but the suggestions weren't working. Let's say that the source data we are using to build the cube on has a value out of range. This would cause the cube build/update to fail. How do I see the error log that explains which field has the value out of range? Please be detailed on exactly what command I should enter and where I should enter it in.

What is the recommended approach to handle the following scenario: Large number of HL7 messages are serviced via Ensemble. Those messages are then transformed and routed to an Operation which calls a web service which does a number of different activities. If will do address normalization, location geo coding, MPI lookup and resolution, and insert into a SQL Server database to stage for an analytics product. Unfortunately all of this work takes time and the first thing that happens in the web service is a lock taken out on the Patien in SQL Server.

We just upgrade from cache 2016.2 to IRIS 2020.1.1.

After this upgrade we cannot access to the portal web management, and dont give errors about that just this:

09/28/21-15:59:16:654 (20192) 1 [Utility.Event] Private web server has not started after 5 seconds.

Is this normal?

I followed the guide but dont talk nothing about that.

This is a normal problem when upgrading?

Let's say I have a global named ^a and I need to export its nodes 1, 2, 3, 5 only.

Currently I write something like this:

Write $SYSTEM.OBJ.Export("a(1).gbl,a(2).gbl,a(3).gbl,a(5).gbl", "C:\Users\eduard\Desktop\a.xml")

Is there a way to write it shorter? I want to write global node once and list all the subscripts I need.

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any code to compare and update two directories/namespaces for class files.
If file is present in directory1 and not present in diectory2, it should import the classfile.
If file is not present in directory1 and it is present in directory2, the corresponding file should be deleted from directory2.

Please suggest code for the task.

Sql Error Message

I had a table which contained data and worked fine, without changes the code of the persistent classes I now get the following error:

I was recently troubleshooting a problem on a Linux (RHEL) instance of 2016.1 at a site. For policy reasons their sysadmins wanted to update the Caché installation so it used network accounts for its cacheusr and iscagent users and groups instead of the locally-created ones that had been set up during original install of Caché.

To do this they ran various commands including chown

Afterwards non-root users couldn't obtain a terminal session using the csession command. Instead they receive this message:

cache: Permission denied

We are upgrading from Health Connect 2018.1.3 to IRIS Health Connect 2022.1, and one thing that we are particularly hesitant about is if our Business Rules will work in the new version.

I am trying to come up with a testing process for bulk testing our rules, and wanted to know if this could be done programmatically instead of having to modify all the Business Operations to have them write the HL7 data to a file. I caught Orlando Health's presentation at GS2022 but I am not sure that will work for my team.

Why does it delete the unit testing class from Cache when I run the test?

Is there a way to turn this off?

Interpretor of $list for python named DollarList.

This interpretor was made because :

  • I wanted to use $list in python.
  • Embedded Python do not support $list.
  • The native API version do not support embedded $list in $list.

This is a work in progress. For now, it only support embedded $list in $list, int and string.

This module is available on Pypi :

It is compatible with embedded python and native api.

I have a requirement to update the Ensemble Host Settings Programmatically. Mainly the "AlertOnError,QueueCountAlert,QueueWaitAlert,InactivityTimeout" settings.

I used Ens_Config.Item (persistent) class to get the settings (list object) and then update it. But for some of the Business Host's, I dont see the above settings in the table, but present in Settings of that particular Host in Ensemble Management Portal. So my logic is not working.

Hi,

I create a WebService in Machine One, with some process, i tested this webservice with SOAPUI, worked.

After that i create a simple Business Operation, SOAP Adapter, based on WebClient created with SOAP Wizzard, the problem with that is on response var, i have empty var on my operation, somebody have some Ideas ?
