Hi, please can you help me. I cant understand a thing on how to resolve this. I can run the query perfectly fine on SQL but when I run it in studio, it gives an error.
Hello again! Welcome to the Part 2 - Handling payloads!
If you're new to this series, I'd recommend you to check out the Part 1 - Core concepts. You'll need a basic understanding about how Frontier works before continuing with the Part 2.
We use the Caché JDBC Gateway to Oracle and SQL servers to directly invoke their stored procedures from Ensemble. Getting quick, inline data results back are typically handled within the Functions.Library class as a function to wrap the query and format the return appropriately.
In the last years the data architecture and platforms focused into Big Data repositories and how toprocess it to deliver business value. From this effort many technologies were created to process tera and petabytes of data, see:
Apologies if this isn't the correct forum but here goes..
I'm accessing an Intersystems database from MS SQL Server using Intersystems ODBC driver and using OPENQUERY statement to read metadata of tables using
SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY([<linked server name>], 'SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS')
but I get an error message saying INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS cannot be found.
Intersystems SQL documentation does reference this table so is there some other way to access this table or is it maybe a permissions issue?
Any election is a highly mysterious process, and when you look at its results, the overall picture is not quite clear. I decided to put them, region by region, on the map of Moscow using InterSystems technologies that offer both storage and data analysis functionality. In this particular case, I used InterSystems Ensemble, a platform for application development and integration, but you can also build this solution using the multi-model InterSystems Caché DBMS, as well as InterSystems’ new product called IRIS Data Platform.
I trying build a project with .NET and Entity Framework in the Code First method, but Caché return the error " 'VARBINARY' is not a supported type for CAST" when run this sql code:
I want to introduce class B, which would have same records as Class A, but only one property - P2.
What is the easiest way to manage it assuming that I would like to use Class A to add records and be available for any operations to Users with Role A.
And I would like to introduce class B for Users with role B for read-only access. Preferably they shouldn't even be aware of Class A and P1 existence .
What is the easiest way to introduce it and manage it?
We're developing Ensemble PoC and one day our frontend developer (who doesn't have Ensemble production running) said that Populate just doesn't cut it and he needs to see the real data. He needed only one object, but the problem was - it's a big object. Still, I checked ids of everything related and wrote this command (parts omitted, but you get the idea):
If you're viewing a HL7 message in the front end, with a schema correctly applied, you can mouse over a segment or a field and see the schema path, e.g:
Mousing over PV1 in the above message shows the schema path is "PIDgrp(1).PV1".
I'm writing a utility function which you pass an EnsLib.HL7.Message into. I'd like to loop through each segment and take action dependant on that schema path. How can I reference or determine that schema path in code?
June 16, 2021 - Advisory: Discontinued Technologies and Features
Note: A previous version of this advisory listed Caché Server Pages as a deprecated technology. Caché Server Pages is not deprecated and is fully supported.
We're pleased to invite you to the InterSystems AI+ML Summit 2021, which will be held virtually from January 25 to February 4! Join us for a two-week event that ranges from thought leadership to technical sessions and even 1:1 “Ask the Expert” sessions.
The sessions will be in both German and English. And this summit is free to attend!
A client wants information extracted from their MUMPS database and transferred to a cache database, where do I begin and what are some best practices I should keep in mind? (I am fairly new to MUMPS and have been put on this project)
InterSystems has performed various system and application benchmarks to determine the potential performance impact after the corrections for Meltdown have been applied.
Currently we have 2 Windows servers in a clustered environment. Is there a setting in HealthShare for a TCP/IP Operation to use the virtual IP address when initiating the connection, rather than the host IP address?
I'm proud to announce the new release of iris-pex-embedded-python (v2.3.1) with a new command line interface.
This command line is called iop for Interoperability On Python.
First I would like to present in few words the project the main changes since the version 1.
A breif history of the project
Version 1.0 was a proof of concept to show how the interoperability framework of IRIS can be used with a python first approach while remaining compatible with any existing ObjectScript code.
What does it mean? It means that any python developer can use the IRIS interoperability framework without any knowledge of ObjectScript.
Example :
from grongier.pex import BusinessOperation
class MyBusinessOperation(BusinessOperation):
def on_message(self, request):
self.log.info("Received request")
So I have a base string that I want to sign using RSA-SHA256. I have a .p12 file and passphrase to get the RSA Private key using NodeJS (pem.readPkcs12 library), which I don't know how to do that in intersystems as well. (would appreciate if you can include a solution for that too)
The main problem here is I am trying to sign a string and print the result to terminal, using the code below in a routine (.mac file).
Hi, if you develop production with HealthShare, you may have noticed there is a nice tracing feature available - HS.Util.Trace.Operations. This feature allows visually tracing debug information, in structured way. It complements good old logging macros like $$$LOGINFO, $$$TRACE and alike.
I use this feature a lot. However, it has limited functionality, it works nice with classes that extend XML Adapter, streams or data types, but it doesn't work well with arbitrary objects that do no extend from XML Adapter.
Since now i have been working from external connection but i want to work with the SQL utility of Management Portal
i dont know how to do with several instructions like in other editors like this example
update Prod.Articulos set Alto = 1646, Ancho = 16, Fondo = 80 where CodigoNum = '100' and Empresa = 'CO'
update Prod.Articulos set Alto = 1646, Ancho = 16, Fondo = 400 where CodigoNum = '101' and Empresa = 'CO'
update Prod.Articulos set Alto = 1646, Ancho = 16, Fondo = 400 where CodigoNum = '102' and Empresa = 'CO'
