Node.js using SQL query

I am attempting to use Node.js to perform a simple query against the database using some identifying information to get the ID. This is what I am attempting to do:

I inherited some legacy MUMPS / ObjectScript code. A code review identified an exclusive NEW and that is not allowed per our coding standards.

We recently changed the 'UserID" property in a "User" class from type of %String to be %Library.Username. This is for better consistency across our codebase regarding MAXLEN limit.

%Library.Username is a system wrapper datatype which extends %String and has a MAXLEN of 160. This change should have minimal/no impact on code behavior. However, we found that some SQL query cannot return expected rows after the change. Query will return empty values even if the entry is in the table.

Transforms in COS over DTL

Hi All,

After doing IRIS/Ensemble etc for 20 years I've come across a company who have very odd view, especially about DTL's and routers.

They have convinced themselves to use COS for transforms (including HL7) and for routers (and one of their 3rd party providers agree!)

Their reasons are; efficiency, compatibility, flexibility, power and re-usability.

Of course these reasons are wrong!

Hi,

How can I query fields by passing them in variable names, eg. I would like to query columns Book & Author fields from eg. the following :

S =var1="Book", var2="Author"

Select var1,var2 from myTables.Books

I tried @var1 or %var1 and didn't work

Hello my friends,

I have a problem with Objectscript, why the value of address become like this ?

everything works fine except the Address,

this is my code, do I need something to make this into real address ? should I put something in my code ?

I recently started to study interoperability and I found the official documentation very helpful in understanding how it works, though I still had some trouble implementing it myself. With the help I got from my coworkers, I managed to create a Demo of a system and learn through practice. Because of that, I decided to write this to help others with "getting their hands dirty" and share the help I got.

Hi Friends ,

I have created inbound DB adapter business service. Now my requirement to trigger this service at 10am daily.

I used scheduler , but I don't know when should i configure for stop. this not suits for my requirement.

Is there any other way , where I need to trigger service only once , in configured times.

I'm trying to update the hosts file on Windows in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

I know that in Linux if you update the hosts file, you sometimes need to restart the Network Manager for the changes to take effect.

So my question is that is there a similar thing that we need to do on Windows or do the changes take effect as soon as the file is saved?

TCP Error

Hi Everyone,

I tried to send the Sample XML from Packet Sender to Intersystems IRIS TCP Inbound adapter for learning purpose.
I'm using Predefine d Class : EnsLib.XML.TCPService and the adapter is EnsLib.TCP.CountedInboundAdapter (it selected by Default.)
My sample XML file would be <Patient><Name>John,Williams</Name><MRN>12345</MRN></Patient>
I got an error like

Of course, InterSystems offers many tools for all kinds of analyses and treatments. However, in the given scenario, it is better to get the job done using the good old Pandas and leave the IRIS for another time.
