In the wew versions of IRIS the Studio is going to be deprecated. In the Studio when editing classes there is an option to add information at package level, with the option "Package Information" that shows this dialog:

In VSCode there is the option to add/edit this package information? If no, how can one add/edit this information without the Studio?

You may have heard about our mg-dbx-napi interface for IRIS which provides insanely fast access from Node.js. If you've been following recent developments in the server-side JavaScript world, you'll be excited to know that mg-dbx-napi also works with Bun.js, the latter proving to be significantly faster than Node.js for many/most purposes.

During the realization of some required functionality, I discovered that I need to use Deflate compression, and found, that IRIS does not offer any options, $system.Util.Compress, works one way open (GZIP/COMPRESS) totally different, even for the same algorithms, I see that what I would expect as a result for Deflate somewhere there, but Compress returns something more. Is there any way to get a correct result using just ObjectScript without a need to use external tools? Was it really so difficult to have Deflate implemented in the first place?

Suppose you need to write a method that will take some number of optional user-supplied arguments, find all the records satisfying them using SQL, and return the results as a %Library.DynamicArray. After installing IRIS 2023.1 on a live copy of our production machine our REST Service now consumes a CSP Session with every request. The request is handled as expected, but uses one of the 5 CSP Session per license. So after 25 requests, the license is used up. The Grace time always shows 0 and the session stay for very long. (Maybe the 900 Seconds timeout).
On Caché 2018, we had the same settings for the Webapp and there, only a single Session was set for all requests. The Caché request didn't use any cookies.

I would be interested to know is it possible to implement alerts about messages (errors etc that show in message viewer or event log) to show in the SAM portal? So far I've only been able to see system alerts there.

This is probably not the right place, but I don't know who I can reach out to... I am trying to configure an Apache/Web Gateway to our instance of IRIS so we are no longer using the built-in PWS. Can anyone point me in the right direction to configure Apache/Web Gateway to repoint

I have created a custom Business Process setting called X509CredentialAlias in which I load the name of the credential alias to use for some background processes. I have looked through EnsPortal.Component but do not see an option for selecting X509 certs stored within IRIS. How might I adjust this setting to query all X509 certs saved within IRIS and offer a drop-down selection to the user within the business process? Similar to the EnsPortal.Component.sslConfigSelector.

We are in the process of upgrading to 2023.1 for InterSystems Health Connect, and the Business Rule Engine editor is very difficult to use compared to 2022.1. It's difficult to scan over the rules as it all looks the same style with barely any distinction between rules, constraints, conditions, whens etc. There's also tonnes of whitespace, and searching on the page is hit and miss (using Ctrl + F) . I can see the previous editor is still available when you modify the URL, but I'm wondering if we can set it to be the default editor, and if this is something supported.
