Hi guys,

How to find out the number of active connections (including SQL, http, tcp and all remote connections) of an IRIS instance? A core based license is used.

I've checked the document and find %SYS.ProcessQuery.

I'm currently using this sql:

select count(distinct Pid) From %SYS.ProcessQuery
where ClientIPAddress is not null
and ClientIPAddress <> '127.0.0.1'
and ClientIPAddress <> 'localhost'
and IsGhost = '0'

Is it accurate or do we have a better option?

ICMP/Ping with ObjectScript

Is it possible to "Ping" a remote host in IRIS for Health using ObjectScript? We host hundreds of TCP connections over hundreds of VPNs. I'm working on a project that would make it nice to have way to ping remove clients over the VPN to monitor connectivity and keep the tunnels alive.

Another thought/method would be to make an OS system call (AWS Linux), but I don't see a way to do that either.

Hi There,

We are upgrading from Cache to IRIS this weekend and I was curious what version of IRIS I need to download. Once our system is live on IRIS, I will no longer be able to use Ensemble. If anyone knows the version of IRIS and could pass that along to me, it would be much appreciated.

Hello community,

I am in the process of building a Health Care Application named MediCloud and I was so excited to see that IRIS is one of a great choice that I can make for a database system.

But, I am developing my system with ASP.NET Core Version 2.1. I did see that there is a way we could use .NET with IRIS using PEX (such a useful tip), is there a possibility I could do it ASP.NET Core as well.

Or is it just limited to .Net for the time being?

Hello,

The title says it all. I’m building an IRIS image with docker-compose using a separate Dockerfile. Pretty straightforward procedure: I import a Installer script inside the container containing a Installer Manifest I defined. Within the manifest, I create a namespace with code and data databases in separate locations. My intention is to keep the code database inside the container, so whenever I build the container, the imported code is replaced. The data, however, should be persistent.

We're doing our first babysteps with embedded Python and IRIS with an interoperability solution. We want to convert a CSV file to an Excel xlt file.

As service we've got a EnsLib.File.PassthroughService which picks up a csv file

As operation we've got a EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation which writes the Excel file.

In the middle:

We've created an Business Process with an %Stream.GlobalCharacter in the Request and a %Stream.GlobalCharacter in the Response.

Hi,

I'm trying out VS Code with IRIS for Health 2023.2 (not available in above dropdown) in a local container. I can open read-only files in the Objectscript viewer and have a local folder connected to the correct namespace. However, when I make changes and try the "import and compile" option, I get:

ERROR #16006: Document <filepath> name is invalid

The first four chars of <filepath> appear to have been truncated

This is probably not the right place, but I don't know who I can reach out to... I am trying to configure an Apache/Web Gateway to our instance of IRIS so we are no longer using the built-in PWS. Can anyone point me in the right direction to configure Apache/Web Gateway to repoint

http://<server name>:52773/... to the https://<server name>/...

gateway so our users will not notice? How do I do this in Apache, do I need to modify httpd.conf or the ssl.conf file? What is the correct syntax...

Hi,

I'm very new to InterSystems Health Connect so may be doing something silly...

I'm trying to link to an Oracle DB view using the Link Table Wizard in the Management Portal. The wizard finds the view, but when I select it and click the 'next' button I get an error on the 'Select Columns' screen: 'ERROR #5534: Columns error' (and no columns show in the wizard). I've tried on several views and tables in the same DB but keep hitting the same error.

My original ZAUTHENTICATE.mac to use Delegated sign on did not include GetCredentials(), however I am being told it probably should have it so I am eliminate an error I am seeing when trying to troubleshoot the ZAUTHENTICATION. I am trying to add the GetCredentials() from the documentation to the existing ZAUTHENTICATE.mac but I am getting an error

Can I please check what the size limit for the parameter in $SYSTEM.Encryption.Base64Decode() method ?

I have a 12 page base64 encoded PDF document, which is failing when decoded. I am getting the error below:

ERROR <Ens>ErrException: <ILLEGAL VALUE>zXSDToLogical+1^%Library.Binary.1 -- logged as '-' number - @''

OBX:5 size=4233781

I tried the below from terminal, but it is not able copy the whole string for the parameter so couldn't execute it.

Hey InterSystems Community!

This is probably far-fetched - is there a way to get notified/get a piece of code triggered whenever the state of a global changes?

Now what could I possibly want with that? Quite simple! I would like to forward the content of a global (in this case the "FSLog" global written by the FHIR implementation) while adding timestamps to it - to create some sort of file-based logging for it.
