GlobalToJSON-embeddedPython-pure

I have created a package to export a Global into JSON object file and to re-create it by reloading from this file
embeddedPython refers to the new available technologies. It should be understood as a learning exercise of
how to handle the language interfaces. Only Global nodes containing data are presented in the generated JSON file.
Differently from the previous example, this one is using embedded Python only, no ObjectScript. Therefore PURE

Try/Catch within BP

Hello everyone,

I'm facing an issue i would like to resolve :).

I have a BPL which throw a DTL. My DTL has many reasons to raise an Exception.

I would like to catch this exception within my BP with a SCOPE but it does not work.

The BP seems to catch its own Exception but does not care at all of my DTL Exception.

So, is it possible to use the SCOPE in my case ? Otherwise, how can I handle the exception in my DTL ?

How to audit data change?

Hi guys,

In our clients environment, multiple sources will connect to one DB (all through JDBC connections) and perform various operations. Sometimes they found some data was deleted without reason. Thus they want some feature like SQL Server Database Audit Specifications that can log who at what time with which IP deleted data in a specific DB.

I've checked IRIS Audit but I didn't find feature about that . How can we audit and log delete of a known DB? The deletions might be performed by delete statament or truncate table stattement.

Hi, I am new to IRIS and We are planning to setup a CI pipeline on AWS VM deploying the iris data platform container. I am trying to find out which folders needs to be inside the source control and where (exact folder) the updated code needs to be pulled in the container. I would be much obliged if anyone cant point the CI CD related documentation.

accented characters

How do you allow accented chracters to flow through the engine without erroring out? I read something about adding a "!" in MSH-18 to accept the default coding, but now it gives me an error about "No translation table found". Does InterSystems have anything out of the box to account for accented letters? Does this need to be coded?

I have a case where I am creating a PDF file from an Encoded String, and I need to transfer this file over to another server. I was wondering since this is PDF file if I could just invoke the FTP.OutboundAdapter within my Object script that is creating the PDF from the encoded string. Is this possible? Does anyone have an examples of using EnsLib.FTP.OutboundAdpater within their Object Script?

posted some weeks ago in the "old" ZEN Google Group, maybe someone here can help to understand how to properly setting up a csp applications and contributing from the build-in caché security mechanism.

I´ve created a webapplication and wan´t to add further security to it using the smp. But... first things first.

I have two Databases let´s say DB1-LOGIN and DB2-Application. Each of this DBs has a resource assigned. DB1-LOGIN has a resource %DB1-LOGIN which has a public permission of 'read'. DB2 has a resource as well %DB2-Application with no public access.

Hi,
The IRIS Health Docker image comes with Java 1.8 but I need OpenJDK 11. How could I install that using aptitude or somehow else?
The apt-get command requires elevation but if I rewrite the command with sudo apt-get it won't build with error message /bin/sh: sudo: not found
Is it possible to do what I want?

SQL LOAD DATA date values

I have csv date file with date values like this "4/10/2021" for April 10, 2021. I defined a table with this property: Property TranDate As %Library.Date.

I capture error

I do not really want to change TranDate to %String. How can I import "4/10/2021" into %Date property?

How To Pass Custom Class

I've created a custom class that extends to the standard HS.Message.PatientSearchRequest. Inside the custom class i just want to pass the data as input only.

But i am getting ERROR #6277: Type attribute, s01:AcoPatientSearchRequest, does not specify valid type for XML input tag: pRequest (ending at line 5 character 171)

IDX Groupcast system from Cache'

Hello,

I posted in another thread a short while back regarding accessing (extracting) data from the Cache' database.

I am now told that the (healthcare) system is IDX Groupcast. The kick off project has not started yet but I would like to do some 'homework' and see the data model. I couldn't find too much about this in a Google search. Would anyone have a link or advise for doing some preliminaries? I am already versed in SQL server.
