We want to monitor an Ensemble Production and send custom email alerts in function of some Rules. For example, if we normally receive 1 message per second, if suddenly we receive 5 or more messages per second, we want to send an email alert. And if tomorrow we don't want to check this again, we want to disable it through Ensemble Business Rules.
In this 3-part series of articles, is shown how you can use IAM to simply add security, according to OAuth 2.0 standards, to a previously unauthenticated service deployed in IRIS.
In the first part, was provided some OAuth 2.0 background together with some IRIS and IAM initial definitions and configurations in order to facilitate the understanding of the whole process of securing your services.
Welcome community members to a new article! this time we are going to test the interoperability capabilities of IRIS for Health to work with DICOM files.
Let's go to configure a short workshop using Docker. You'll find at the end of the article the URL to access to GitHub if you want to make it run in your own computer.
Previously to any configuration we are going to explain what is DICOM:
Gartner Peer Insights launched a new incentive for reviews and we are glad to announce it for you. If you have not reviewed InterSystems IRIS on Gartner yet, here is your chance to make it and get two prizes:
1. 🎁 Three months free access to exclusive Gartner research from Gartner Peer Insights:
Your Peer Insights Plus access will get you the most respected research across IT, allowing you to make better decisions. You’ll get regular email alerts on vendors and updates on markets. And you’ll be able to search reviews by topic, compare unlimited numbers of vendors, and personalize vendor shortlists.
Most notably, take advantage of enhancements to compiling with InterSystems IRIS. You can find more information about the additions in the release notes here.
Several steps should be done in order to secure the connection through xDBC clients to an IRIS Server instance using TLS. Most of the information can be obtained from the documentation about TLS on IRIS here, about configuring the security layer for encrypted connections. In the next paragraphs we will cover an step-by-step guide on how to configure and test the connection using SQL Clients apps using ODBC and JDBC.
I was wondering if there was a certain procedure or documentation on securing (Https://) the Web Portal into IRIS/Ensemble?
Currently we are using LDAP Delegated Authentication to access the Web Portal using LDAP. However as more and more emphasis is put on securing applications within networks, I can see Management/Security asking us to make sure that the web portal is more secure.
Some changes in IRIS configuration require a restart of IRIS. This is no big issue as long as I have access to the server command line with sufficient privileges.
In a container, this is not always given. Stopping IRIS from the terminal/session prompt is no problem. But the restart after is.
Note1: container start-stop is no option as it might be removed by option --rm in docker run Note2: the target is linux (manly in docker). Windows is excluded
Too often users finding themselves in need of a software solution do not consider “open source” vs. “proprietary” alternative. Most of them either have their go-to favorite developer or just google for reviews and ready-made answers. However, this alternative must be the starting point of their search, as the decision has the most consequences.
It is not an overstatement to say that open source is the future of technology, albeit, it has its own unique challenges. Here is what users, especially corporate users should consider choosing the software for their business needs.
I am using a standard EnsLib.HL7.Operation.FileOperation to create files based on HL7 messages but I just realised that lines in the output file only contain CR (Character Return) but no LF (Line Feed). It is really important to have both as another system picking those files will fail otherwise...
I am trying to explore some new possibilities outside of the normal day to day HL7 interfacing we do. I have only done 1 other Web Service interface but it was using a SOAP proxy wizard. Now I am tasked with trying to make a call to an external API
Every row-and-column intersection contains exactly one value from the applicable domain (and nothing else).
The same value can be atomic or non-atomic depending on the purpose of this value. For example, “4286” can be
atomic, if its denotes “a credit card’s PIN code” (if it’s broken down or reshuffled, it is of no use any longer)
non-atomic, if it’s just a “sequence of numbers” (the value still makes sense if broken down into several parts or reshuffled)
This article explores the standard methods of increasing the performance of SQL queries involving the following types of fields: string, date, simple list (in the $LB format), "list of <...>" and "array of <...>".
Following this GitHub we will see how the FIX protocol can be implemented easily using IRIS and Python.
If you don't have much time focus on the Send a Quote before the Order part near the end, as it will, in a matter of minute, tell you how to send a Quote Request followed by an Order Request and show you the result from the server, and that in no more than five clicks.
I have created a fairly simple process for taking a HL7 message and sending it to an external provider via a HTTP Post and this is all working correctly. However for the request and response messages I am using e a simple structure containing only a message stream and when looking in Ensemble Message viewer none of this stream content is showing (it is all blank). Would I have to create a particular message type to make this show in message viewer and if so could someone provide some guidance around how to achieve this (outline of code included below)
I am trying to use the ./irisstart command in Red Hat, but it returns an error "Invalid registry ownership". The same error appears when i try ./irisstop and ./irisforce
InterSystems IRIS includes dynamic object gateways for Java, .NET, and (now) Python. These gateways allow your IRIS application to use libraries in these languages, removing the need to create everything from scratch in ObjectScript.
I am planning to implement Business Intelligence based on the data in my instances. What is the best way to set up my databases and environment to use DeepSee?
I did a small coding for the HTTP request and HTTP response. When i tried to use a server with ping i was able to get a response from the HTTP request. But when i tried the same with HTTP response i am getting a empty value in the response why is that?
Intersystems IRIS for Health has excellent support for the FHIR industry standard. The main features are: 1. FHIR Server 2. FHIR Database 3. REST and ObjectScript API for CRUD operations on FHIR resources (patient, questionnaire, vaccines, etc.)
This article demonstrates how to use each of these features, as well as presenting an angular frontend for creating and viewing Quiz-like FHIR resources.
I've been reading some posts in the community but I haven't been able to come to a conclusion. Here's my point.
I have a cache code, and following this guide https://cedocs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls?K... but I can't understand how to run this from jenkins for example, without using the console, and thus automate the process. That is to say, if it were possible to do it, what steps should I follow.
