New to Python. Attempting to use pypyodbc to select data from a table in one Cache database, and inserting into a similarly configured table in another. Process works fine except for tables containing Date types. NULL values in date columns are handled without issue, but when data is present, insert fails with:

An error occurred: argument 7: TypeError: 'NoneType' object cannot be interpreted as an integer.

I encountered an unexpected behavior while working with the $ZTIMEH and $ZTIME functions, specifically with times between 12:00 and 13:00. Here's what I observed:

W $ZTIMEH("08:50:38.975411826")
Output: 31838

W $ZTIME(31838,1)
Output: 08:50:38

This behavior is correct as $ZTIME returns the expected time of 08:50:38.

However, with the following example:

W $ZTIMEH("12:05:38.975411826")
Output: 338

W $ZTIME(338,1)
Output: 00:05:38

Hey Community,

Recently, @Dean Andrews, Head of Developer Relations, sat down with Instruqt to share how InterSystems is transforming developer engagement:

>> Unlocking Hands-On Learning with Instruqt <<

“Instruqt is useful for interactive tutorials where we are sharing specific use cases of our technology with our customers, partners and developers around the world... It's such a powerful way to show our customers and partners how easy InterSystems technology is to use. - Dean Andrews

Hi we are migrating to Linux from OpenVMS. which includes a new server and SAN. after reading a prior post about the differences with ESX and a VSAN I would think that the a SAN with Virtual disks all SSD type would be similar. which after reading it makes me think that using thick provisioning is the way to go. the 3rd party vendor is arguing this point with me. is it the same premise? is non-dedupe the way to go with thick provisioning. we are currently on 2015.2 of Cache with the plans to go to 2018 until the app vendor is able to certify their product on the latest versin.

I am creating a new HL7 DTL item. I put the from as HL7 and the to as XML, hence, those Ens classes were loaded into the new DTL. However, on the map screen, both the left and the right column only show 'source' and 'target', and no other fields. I pictured that when I included these classes, both columns would pull the corresponding 'schema' to show all the to/from fields, but, they did not. Is that right?

Hello,

as it took me some time to figure out what's wrong, I would like to share this experience, so that you do not fall into the same trap.

I've just noticed that if you name your package "code" (all lowercase), in a class using some embedded python using [Language = python], you'll face the <THROW> *%Exception.PythonException <PYTHON EXCEPTION> 246 <class 'ModuleNotFoundError'>: No module named 'code.basics'; 'code' is not a package

IrisGoogleChat with AI

Hi Community,

I want to share with you the lastest app that I have uploaded to the Open Exchange "IrisGoogleChat".

IrisGoogleChat is a utility for InterSystems IRIS that allows seamless message integration with Google Chat using Cache ObjectScript. This application provides a set of tools to configure Google Chat Channels, create messages powered by moods generated with AI and send them to a Google Chat Channel.
