I am new to IRIS and cloud platforms. I've done the InterSystems IRIS Experience on the learning site and read a lot of the online documentation. What I am unable to figure out is which type of package or option you will use on the cloud provider.

AWS for example, has AWS EC2, Elastic Beanstalk and some other products geared towards Docker containers.
Azure has Kubernetes and some other options.

What would be the best way to do a HL7 - Business Service to FRL(Flat Record Layout)- Business Operation?

Do I need to use the record mapper to define the file output? Does anyone have an example?

This is a quick note on what happens when, on your CSP page, you call a cache script which returns a %Boolean and store that value in a javascript variable.

When you call a script with language="cache" and returntype="%Boolean" from a javascript script, the return value is interpreted as a string, not as a boolean.

Here's an example:

i am trying to run a windows batch file using $ZF(-100)

$ZF(-100,"/ASYNC /LOGCMD","C:\batch_files\ab_bat.bat")

doesn't seem to be working (no error just the batch files contents no executed).

should this work?

This is important, because many documents are scanned into images inside PDF, or many documents contains images with text inside. So OCR are an important step to get all possible data from a document.

We're having troubles with working over Telnet on Caché Unicode with WRQ Reflection.

We can't input extended characters (é,à,Ø,...), DELETE-key doesn't work, ...

Has anyone a solution for working with WRQ Reflection or a decent alternative ?

We tried Putty and Caché-terminal but these are not sufficent.

I'm wondering what the path is to learning healthshare & ensemble? I've looked on the learning page and its minimally helpful. I've found that as a long time mumps programmer that new jobs are requiring this. I've just been using mumps to assist with epic emr. Everything I'm seeing is either VistA or Healthshare. Does someone know where do I go to learn these apps? Seems like a catch 22. You need to know these prior to getting a job but you can't get a job where you can learn them. Frustrating.
