At the moment I am trying to write a documentation file for a project and intend to use LaTeX for it. Has anyone already had experience with this? I haven't found syntax highlighting with the LaTeX packages I know yet. I found a request on Pygment but it was from 2016 and there was no reply on it since then.
Does anyone know a simple way for syntax highlighting COS in LaTeX? Thanks for your input!
Hello All, Can anyone tell me whats the best python IDE and code editors? I am a little bit confused between Eclipse + Pydev, Pycharm, Sublime Text, Visual Studio Code, Vim, GNU/Emacs, Atom/Atom-IDE, Cloud9.
Lately, you have probably heard of the new InterSystems Package Manager - ZPM. If you're familiar with it or with such package managers as NPM, Dep, pip/PyPI, etc. or just know what is it all about -- this question is for you! The question I want to arise is actually a system design question, or, in other words, "how should ZPM implement it".
There's lots of news in this month's Developments newsletter for customers and partners. InterSystems made the Gartner Leaders Quadrant and ranked high in other analyst reports. There have been several major product releases. And the recent "AI Robotization (Python, R, Interoperability) for InterSystems IRIS"(Anton Umnikov, Eduard Lebedyuk, and Sergey Lukyanchikov) is now available on demand.
This was written based on a previous trial in .XLS It is far from being perfect. Rather a challenge for improvement in all directions (code, interface, ...) So anyone feel invited to make it better.
Hi Team, If any possible to add a rewards list of InterSystems cache certification to InterSystems Global Masters. For example ,developer or global master user have 10000 point as , we give any offer(price) to attend the InterSystems cache/Ensemble/IRIS certificate. So no.of developer try to attend the exam and get certification. This is very useful for developer career and we also have lot of Cache developers in the market. Please correct me, if I am wrong..
The latest issue of our Developments newsletter just hit inboxes, but if yours wasn't one of them, you can download it from our landing page.
In this issue, you'll get links to some of the keynotes from Global Summit 2019, go on a deep dive into machine learning, and learn about a November webinar on the Machine Learning Toolkit.

When calling the below stored procedure using the management portal (Run Query) no data is being retrieve, but if it is directly executed management portal data will show.
"IN" does not work changing it to "=", "like" the stored procedure will work. Does any one know how to fix this ?
This might be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway.
My goal is to write a scss file, pack it as part of a local library (Something like my_library.tgz), npm install that library into a different project and then import that scss file in one of the scss files in the new project.
Simply having the scss file exist in the library before I pack it didn't seem to work; the file wasn't under node modules after the npm install. Am I doing something wrong, or are there extra steps I have to take?

This did not work very well. I switched gears and now I have a Zen Page that includes a Zen Report in iFrame. However my line chart does not display a line.
How should I go about it to add a page to the EnsPortal? I want to display a dashboard like page and I would like to be able to have it accessible from Management Portal. I hope there is a better way than typing the URL in address bar. Is the menu for Management Portal editable?
Hi all, I have released the latest version of VSCode extension for ObjectScript already a month ago, and finally a time for the info about this new release.
So, what's new in the release:
What's new in this version

added Server actions menu, by clicking on server info from status bar. Open Management portal, Class Reference and toggle connection.
Class Suggestion in ##class, Extends, As, CompileAfter, DependsOn, PropertyClass
$SYSTEM suggestion by Classes from %SYSTEM
Import and compile folder or file by context menu in File Explorer
Server Explorer, now possible to open any other namespace

Just wanted to let you know that our July issue of Developments and Developments Healthcare Edition went out this week. You can check out these and other issues on this landing page.
There are many projects which work on InterSystems products, and they are not always written only in ObjectScript. I think some of you working with different programming languages and already have some experience with other editors, and hope you already have a favourite online editor.
My current choice is VSCode, whereas you may already know I have added an extension to support ObjectScript.
I'm curious about the development processes of those of you using Angular.
The starting point is that, somewhere, there lives an Angular project full of (mostly) typescript files. Eventually, those files need to be built, and the resulting built files served up to a browser.
I have great news for you. A few days ago, GitHub was updated with the latest version of linguist project, which is being used to recognize source code types in repositories. It helps to determine which programming language had been used in every file of the repository. Repository statistics section shows the results of this module work.
Also, you can search across all available GitHub repositories for any chosen language.
Earlier I've written about command pipes. This is the internal variant of a PIPE.
To make this more tangible and visible for you I prepared a small example The scenario is to run a monitoring process that receives input from an unknown number of sensors. (Could be Lab equipment or similar.)
