Hi All,

I'm having a strange issue where doing a .setValue on a ZEN datacombo is updating it with the value as-is, not the corresponding display value. Eg, if I connected it to query that returns two columns: ID,Name, and do a setValue(ID), I would expect the text in the datacombo to update showing Name. Instead it updates show ID, which I only want to use internally.

Hello programmers I would like to build a simple app where I could register data from a user like a name, age, and the phone just to practice, but for that, I would like to build the frontend and backend and also I need to be able to insert, update and delete information.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me on how I could do that using Intersystems IRIS?

I have a SOAP web service on an IRIS system. From within the code of the WebMethod I would like to log the remote IP address of the client. Is there any way to get access to the client's IP address from the ObjectScript code in the SOAP service? This will save me some headaches correlating logs from IRIS with web server logs.

I am trying to split a HL7 message (RDE O11) into several messages depending on how many RXC segments there are in the message (Two RXC segments would need to two separate HL7 messages)

I have seen a couple of posts regarding this but am struggling with my BP using ObjectScript, the idea is to take the receiving message and split this before passing it onto another BP

I just wrote up a quick sample to help a colleague load data into IRIS from R using RJDBC, and figured it's worth sharing here for future reference.

Ultimately it was pretty simple, aside from IRIS not liking "." in column names; the workaround is to just rename the columns. Someone better at R than me could probably provide some generic approach.

I need a help in the following error I am getting while running the SQL Query. I am running the SQL Query from different table using inner join. I run this everyday for last 90 days but for few days while extracting the data through this query I am getting this error. Please assist.

Now, I would like to add some details about converter and validator services.

By default, OpenAPI-Suite sends an HTTP request to converter.swagger.io if the specification version is less than 3.0 and another HTTP request to validator.swagger.io to simplify the structure of the specification document.

Although the usage of online utilities is convenient, in some cases it could be better to have our own instance of the converter and validator. For example, if OpenAPI-Suite is provided on a server in an organisation for ObjectScript developers, it may be preferable to avoid requests to external services (privacy, avoid request rate limits).

Hello, I am quite new with InterSystems, SAM and Grafana. I am looking a way to get Log Files and Application Errors from InterSystems to SAM like in this post: https://community.intersystems.com/post/grafana-support-intersystems-iris. Is this plugin still under development or is there any other way to get those errors? By using SAM, I do not get those errors.
