InterSystems is proud to announce another developer preview release, as part of the developer preview program for the 2022.3. Many updates and enhancements have been added in 2022.3 and there are also brand new capabilities, such as the new FHIR SQL Builder, improvements for Columnar Storage, and support to Oracle Linux 9 (not in this preview yet).

My fantasy didn't go beyond periodically running %SYS.Journal.System:Progress() class query, while I'd prefer to use an event handler of some kind. Any ideas?

I'd like to start playing around with some simple Angular app with IRIS REST Api but I'd like to do so in the best way possible, did you have any best practices and/or VSCode setup to make life easier?

Keep in mind I've never developed an Angular APP before, so also some simple example will be really useful.

The ObjectScript language of InterSystems IRIS has the ability to extend classes using a very interesting feature called XData.

It is a section in your class that can be used to create custom definitions to be used within the class itself and also externally.

This is probably not the right place, but I don't know who I can reach out to... I am trying to configure an Apache/Web Gateway to our instance of IRIS so we are no longer using the built-in PWS. Can anyone point me in the right direction to configure Apache/Web Gateway to repoint

My general question is how to convert to a %Library.ListOfObjects to a Python "array-like" structure for use in Matplotlib.

We have a need to track Database changes over time - down to the SQL level of granularity if possible. Such as: User xyz runs routine ^abc and we get something similar to a changelog that tells us: table A had this value updated, insert, update etc....

Is that possible using IRIS level tools (Audit Log, Journal File, etc...) , is there a way to convert the global sets and kills from the journals into SQL level changes?

I am a very new to IRIS Object Script Development. There is a usecase where I have to execute a .sh file from the object script. I am looking for examples for that, but what I find is the ways to execute the shell commands. Can you please point me to some examples executing a .sh file. Thanks in Advance

As you likely are aware, the new version of InterSystems IRIS for Health (I4H) it's already available in Docker Hub. It's the Community version and is free and fully functional. There have been comments about it in other articles and posts,... so today I won't add anything about features. Here I want to explore "the mistery about the disappearance, or better, absence of our persistent data when we run a container with the durable option" (I didn't find a terrifying font to emphasize the thriller... post editor is not terrific for styling ) .
