Would appreciate some guidance on this. I am creating a transform to replace values using a functionset. But for some reason the values arent getting replaced. What I want to do is to replace if the observation value [For Eg: if Migraine should replace with M1]

I'm attempting to convert a date from UTC to my locale, and for some reason I can't seem to get the Ensemble ConvertDateTime Utility Function to detect the timezone to then convert. I'm hoping it's just a syntax issue, and that someone can show me the error of my ways.

Use case: small in-house hospital systems that query patient demographics via SQL. The new PAS being implemented in the near future will only support query/response via HL7. SQL access is available but intended for reporting so up to 24 hours behind.

Probably the easiest option is to set up a database in Ensemble and keep it up to date via standard ADT feed. This is going to have quite a large footprint and has a risk of getting out of sync.

Hello, I want to show a fellow DC member how to convert JSON file into HL7 message. I personally do not work with HL7. I set up a production with EnsLib.File.PassthroughService. It passes Ens.StreamContainer to BPL process. I call a DTL to transform StreamContainer to HL7 message. I run into an error:

How can I achieve this from objectscript as well as from DTL?

We are currently performing encryption at the OS level but it makes storage expansion complicated. Any feedback on OS encryption vs. Ensemble? Pros/Cons. We will have CentOS7 on our new server.

I have a business operation in an ensemble production to which I can send a test message which requires a date input. However, I can not seem to find out how I write the date in the test message. 1980-01-01, 01-01-1980, 50000 (cache integer encoding). I'm exploring using installation manifests to deploy Ensemble configuration changes. I noticed that the documentation uses a macro within an "Error" tag.

So I thought this would also be possible with "Var" tags, "If" tags, etc. For example:

I created a record map and my DTL works fine. I would like to query one of the values in my input record mapped class. How would I do that? I've tried request.Field1, document.Field1 and can't see to get my rule to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What is the best way to pass a list(collection) of integers from one BPL to another BPL?

Here is what I have now, but this doesn't seem to be working. In the CALL to the other BPL I am trying to pass the EOBList. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I am trying to test an hl7 message inside studio and when I click on the test button I get this error:
