I have an Ensemble installation and just build my first RestService (using %CSP.Rest that forwards them to my Business Service). This works nice and fine when I use postman to make REST calls over http (port 57772). However when I attempt to make a request using https over port 443 I receive the following error:
A site has a Mirror set, and an Asynchronous DR. The disk drives for each of the instances are local disks and the databases are large (>2 TB)
The current backup strategy is started off as using Cache Backup and is still the case today, but the size and time it take t do the backup is obviously prohibitive.
I am using a standard EnsLib.HL7.Operation.FileOperation to create files based on HL7 messages but I just realised that lines in the output file only contain CR (Character Return) but no LF (Line Feed). It is really important to have both as another system picking those files will fail otherwise...
We use a lot of external MS SQL calls to look up numerous things when it comes to HL7. I am running into an issue where the outbound calls are queued but the message is sent onto the next process before it gets a response. How do I get it to wait till the response gets back from the MS SQL call before sending it onto the next process?
Below is a screen shot of what I am trying to explain...Select Research Study executes at 8:33 the message is sent to the next process at 8:34, but the response of the MSSQL call doesn't come till 9:31.
TL;DR: If I set an Ensemble Production Service based on EnsLib.File.PassthroughService to a Binary charset encoding, it breaks the file handling. Any ideas?
I have been using %Net.FtpSession and while it works, its handling of file/directory listings from an FTP server is less than ideal and, while this is due to the FTP protocol itself, the class could be written to handle this as would an FTP client such as FileZilla and command line/class FTP handlers for other languages. I was wondering if anyone knows how the Ensemble adaptor works with this in case it provides code that would help, though the source does not seem to be available. Below are the issues I see in FTP, some are based on past experience writing our own FTP handler in the past
Looking for advice on best practise (or at least reasonable approaches) for handling the Production class when utilising source control. (And perhaps wider advice around deployment.)
Usually I recommend to set the global buffer (GB) as large as possible in order to maintain in memory more globals as possible. I don't know if this is a standard recommendation, but I want to discuss what should be the best buffer size for a Ensemble instance that only process messages.
I am getting an ERROR #5002 in a soap service defined in ensemble. Odd thing is that I allready have a functioning business service running as a soap service, but we needed another, but that one returns an error:
I have a FTP.Inbounding service that read a file and move it to a other folder when it is processed. The problem is that is not working fine in SFTP server.
Has anyone tried using the TCPKeepAlive function? I've been reading the documentation on this and it might be what I need to use. Any examples of how this is being used? thanks!
I want to secure a SOAP Webservice (an EnsLib.SOAP.Service one, if that matters) adding a SSL/Username Policy to it. As im not sure how detailed my request here should get, ill try giving a detailed as-is description of my setup, what I've tried, how I tried to test the connection and what problems including some logs I ran into.
As a small foreword: I'm pretty new to the whole security aspect of intersystems and soap itself.
There is a question for Ensemble on Stackoverflow:
I have the below dtl. In the foreach loop, I am just copying the same code in another part under anif condition. How can I avoid this redundancy? Can I reuse using sub transformation?
Some time ago, I was started to work at a new company even in other country, and more important in a different sphere when I have not been worked before, in HealthCare. It's a very new project even for company. Since I have not experience in HealthCare, I looked at what I can use in my project, and found that I should not reinvent the bicycle, and think about how to store all my data which I need and how to get access to this data. And I can use FHIR, which is looks like everything what I need, what else I need it's just a client.
I am working in a csp application where the user can configure a TCPS Service in a guide like manor.
So I want to be able to present a html <select> element, the values / text I want to present in this control should be the ID field from Security.SSLConfigs in the %SYS namespace.
How would I go about doing this? Can this be done?
I am trying to replace one of our SQL Integration Service jobs with Ensemble and I am running into an issue executing a query against a MS SQL database using JDBC drivers.
