error compilation studio

Good morning, employees

I'm having trouble compiling in studio, I already reported it to intersystems support, but it did not solve the problem.

when calling a method of a class by putting $, follows an example:

Until this week, my customer had Ensemble writing HL7 messages to my TCP listener, working fine on ageing physical servers (Windows Server 2003, Caché 2009). They had four app servers (app1, app2, app3 and app4) with an overarching DNS simply called "app". Ensemble was connecting to "app:port", and it somehow found whichever of the four app servers my background listener was running on, and the interface worked fine for 10+ years.

Hello

I am running a script from a CMD command line using : C:\CacheSys\Bin\cterm.exe /console=cn_iptcp:127.0.0.1[23] myscript.SCR %CD%

The script should authorize something (or not) in the following lines of the GO.CMD

But How can i return an information from inside the script to the GO.CMD script ?

Any idea ?

I've recently encountered a HS Caché that won't start informing that Collation 30 is not available, but I have not found an easy way of knowing what collation is 30.

I've found that the following command returns the ones from the current locale, but not from all locales:

Set Rset = ##class(%ResultSet).%New("%Library.Collate:CollationList")

d Rset.Execute()

While (Rset.Next()) {zw Rset.Number_": "_Rset.Name}

Thank you

Hi All

When performing an update transaction on patient data in GUI Apex 5.8 cache2017, we randomly get a ‘Database Connection Lost’ error. Subsequently the application quits and the incomplete transaction is rolled back.

We have confined its not a network issue as we can still query the database using CHUI Apex when these events occur.

so any input appreciated.

Does anyone know of an API that will do a hostname look-up based on IP? We could of course use call-out but the format of the results vary based on OS and if there is already an ObjectScript tool which will parse this then we'd rather use what is already available.

Thanks!
Ben

Hello, I am trying to get the Zen Print Server to work so that i can use the pdfprint mode in Zen Reports. Zen Reports will create pdfs just fine, so that part is working. And the printer works fine from other applications on this computer and I have verified the printer name a bunch of times.

This is Caché 2016.2 on Windows 10. I have tried this using Adobe 11.0 and Adobe DC. I have made and started a Zen Report Print Server with

Name = "ZenPrint"

Port = "4321"

and Ping Port = "4320"

Reviewing a client console log, I am finding the message:

Terminal disconnect: The specified network name is no longer available.

This message is repeated in the log dozens of times per day over the last month. The client has not raised a concern and our monitoring has not detected any issues with client ops. The client is not aware of any recent changes with their apps. I am not familiar with this message and whether this message is benign or whether there is any action required,

Let's say I have two lists of connected data where elements of listTwo only make sense if given an item of listOne as context:

listOne = ["A", "B", "C"]

listTwo = ["x", "y", "z"]

Tuples like ("A", "y") and ("C, "x") make sense, but "A" or "x" by themselves don't. I would like to pass in a list of such tuples into a method and have it handle each tuple in the list. So what would be the best way to format them given that ObjectScript does not have specialized tuples? Would it be nested $LISTBUILD lists or something else?

Hi,

we get HL7 MDM messages with embedded PDF documents that are Base64 encoded. When the embedded PDF document exceeds the size of 3.6 MB the following error occurs:

FEHLER <Ens>ErrBPTerminated: BP Main HL7 MDM # wird wegen folgenden Fehlers beendet: FEHLER #5002: Caché-Fehler: <MAXSTRING>zgetAtFromArray+46^EnsLib.HL7.Segment.1
> FEHLER #5002: Caché-Fehler: <MAXSTRING>zgetAtFromArray+46^EnsLib.HL7.Segment.1

Terminal replacement

Hi

Has anyone found a good terminal emulator replacement for Cache Terminal?

We want one where the up arrow works to bring back the last command typed (without extraneous characters appearing at the beginning of the line) and be able to run D ^JOURNAL and have it display correctly.

I tried WebTerminal a couple of years back and but it didn't work properly with the journal. I've tried RoyalTS and that doesn't do up arrow or the journal correctly even though it's supposed to be emulating a VT400.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Storage %SYSTEM.Event

Hello, How are you doing?

I'm currently developing a proyect in wich I want to use %SYSTEM.Event to process queues. I realized that if a queue has events pending to be sent to the listeners, when I restart the cube the queue with all its events are deleted.

Is there a way to store the queue with their messages in a Global?

I've checked the documentation but I can't find any option for this prupose.

Presenter: Jeff Semmens
Task: Model and access data as objects in .NET without designing the database first
Approach: Use InterSystems Entity Framework

Description: Come and experience how you can design your database model in .NET and evolve it over time by leveraging the Entity Framework.

Problem: Current bindings require database-first design. I cannot design my model in .NET.

Solution: The Entity Framework is an object-relational mapping framework that allows data-oriented applications to model and access their data as objects in .NET. Database- first is still supported but will fade away in future releases.
