Atelier is InterSystems’ Eclipse-based development environment. It enables you to rapidly build solutions that leverage the performance, scalability, connectivity, and reliability of InterSystems’ comprehensive data platform.
When server-side source control such as Deltanji is being used with Atelier we sometimes want to re-sync the local Atelier copy of a class or routine by pulling the copy from the server.
Is your development team following best practice now that source control and continuous integration testing are better supported by InterSystems new IDE Atelier?
Many teams are turning to Git as their version control system of choice because it never locks files, among other reasons. These teams may also be following a multi-server development workflow where changes are migrated from a DEV server to a TEST server to a PROD server. How should these teams organize their repository given this configuration?
To be able to replace current Cache Studio user functionality in our source control system, I need to access the current project name that the atelier file belongs to when being checked out and in within the UserAction method of the source control class. In addition to this, there also appears to be a problem in that when UserAction code is executed by the Atelier callbacks, the process is running as UnKnownUser instead of utilising the authentication values assigned in the Connection settings for the server.
Does anyone know if these properties are currently exposed?
Is it possible to exclude certain folders from validating (i.e. generating errors/warnings in the Problems tab)? For example, I have *.js files from ckeditor and jquery libraries that are generating multiple errors that I'd like to suppress.
Is anyone using Atelier with 3 environments (instances with multiple namespaces) (DEV, TEST, PROD) using GitHub as the source control.
I would be interested in how its all setup. So for example;
Would you have three branches for the code or 3 repo's.
Would you have three projects in Atelier to communicate with the environments and GitHub?
I have 3 existing environments that I wish to put under source control and also provide the ability to promote code between the environments in a controlled manner.
When trying to sync a class to the server where the server class has been updated by another user, I, as expected, get the Conflict Resolution Wizard.
I can then use the wizard to copy code from the server side to my local copy using the arrows also as expected.
But when I have integrated the remote code into what I think is my local copy how do I save it so that it gets integrated into my local copy and synchronised to the server.
I want to demonstrate using Git via Server-side Source Control hooks (to allow both Studio and Atelier to access a Shared Dev namespace), and I was planning to use the popular Caché Git hooks:
There seems to be a problem with the sync/save. If I open a CSP file, add a CRLF to end of it and save the file I get a sync conflict. This can't be right.
To make matters worse I can then select to the local version and will then end up in an infinite loop where the CSP import/compiler keeps adding more and more CRLFs to the file.
Good day, this is just question from beginner, but I often use Atelier export to export my file as XML for Caché Unit Testing and I didn't find solution for my problem.
Intersystems is a fascinating yet niche marketed.
We are using it, but we struggle to find good developers to join us to work on Caché or Ensemble products.

I have Caché/HealthShare installed in a local Ubuntu 16.04 LTS virtual machine. I've also installed Apache 2.4 from the apache2 bundle, and enabled SSL. I've configured Caché such that SSL/TLS is enabled on the SuperServer port but not required.
It's been 6 months since InterSystems released Atelier 1.0 and we continue to roll out enhancements and new features through the beta channel (please see the Atelier Download page for details). In the meantime, we have received a lot of messages from the Developer Community with ideas for further improvements. Based on your feedback, we created a roadmap for Atelier 1.1 so you can conveniently track when specific features are going to be integrated.
Cache Studio's inspector window can show me a Cache class's properties,methods parameters, XDATA blocks, Triggers, Foreign Keys, Queries and more, in a table in the Inspector window. Additionally, for properties, where the property accepts parameters, these parameters are listed together with possible value choices.
I am having trouble finding/using the ability to refactor inherited elements from super classes. In studio this was under the Class->Refactor->override menu. I did note a 'refactor' option on the right click menu, but if you attempt to choose it the option greys out as soon as you get the mouse pointer over it. Does this feature exist in Atelier as of yet?
I recently installed Eclipse and Atelier and was able to connect to my dev environment and source control. However, when I open a CSP file everything inside <script> tags shows up green as if it's a comment.
I looked through all the preferences but wasn't able to fix this. Has anyone else run into this and/or know a solution?
I'm just editing a class in Atelier. I have added below code into the class.

When I type tStream. , It's not automatically suggesting properties of that object instance in Atelier. If I click "Ctrl+Space", It says "No completions available".
Is this functionality not available in Atelier yet Or Should I make some configuration changes in Atelier to make it available?
I'm trying to do some experiments using the Atelier REST API, but I noticed a bug that I simply can't bypass.
When requesting the Atelier server asking for an array of docs, it seems to fail when using it with multiple formats. Like: [ "RCWWW015.int", "Class.cls" ]
While this method does return the class's source code, it fails when fetching the routine. Like this:
