An XML-enabled class has an XMLExport() method that knows how to serialize an instance to XML. To export all instances of a class to a file, I need to instantiate a writer and loop through the extent. Is there no class method like XMLExportToFile() that does this in one go?

Is there a shorter way than

For debugging purposes I sometimes need to display stack information to the current device or save it (to a global for example).

There is this snippet offered in documentation:

The existing samples do not explain how to save changes on data in a grid.

I have tried something like zen(‘json’).save

We would need to be able to transform a hexadecimal string to a base64 coded one. 🔄

To be specific, our use case is this:

1º We have our hexadecimal as follows:

I have a handful of EnsLib.HL7.MessageRouter sending an HL7 message to a single Business Process (Ens.BusinessProcess).

In the OnRequest method, I am declaring pRequest as EnsLib.HL7.Message

What I need to do is determine which HL7 Router sent any given request to my BusinessProcess.

To do this, I know that I need to fetch the SourceConfigName property from the Ens.MessageHeader of the Request, but I am not sure how (or if) I can fetch this data from within the OnRequest Method.

Does anyone have any pointers?

currently we have a problem in development with the character set of the response message.

We are transmitting an HL7 message with an operation based on the EnsLib.HL7.Operation.HTTPOperation class.
We have changed this as follows.

Set pMsgIn=$$$NULLOREF, tHttpRequest=##class(%Net.HttpRequest).%New(), tHttpRequest.WriteRawMode=1, tHttpRequest.ContentType="APPLICATION/HL7-V2; charset=UTF-8"

Unfortunately, the ContentType character set is not read correctly in the response.

Anybody know if there is a ObjectScript kernel for Jupyter? Would be kinda interesting to testing scripts, etc. And since we kinda have the language runtime in the VSCode ObjectScript extension I wonder if that could be utilized fora jupyter kernel?

I need to split a large XMLfile into multiple smaller ones, grouping by an element multiple iterations deep.

In XSLT 2 I use for-each-group group-by, which perfectly does the trick.

I wonder if it is possible to do the grouping in DTL?
