Motivation

I didn't know about ObjectScript until I started my new job. Objectscript isn't actually a young programming language. Compared to C++, Java and Python, the community isn't as active, but we're keen to make this place more vibrant, aren't we?

I've noticed that some of my colleagues are finding it tricky to get their heads around the class relationships in these huge projects. There aren't any easy-to-use modern class diagram tool for ObjectScript.

I am in the process of trying to create a GIT repository and I am struggling to export all the relevant classes from Studio, as I only have access to Studio and not able to export via the Management Portal. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can export from Studio as one project to include all the relevant folders and its associated classes?

Are there also any recommended documentations/links you would suggest to help me get a better understanding of GIT and how it works etc?

I generated a REST API from a Swagger document with basic security.

When I send a request to that API, I now get an authentication error 401 always.

I entered a user api and a password and gave it the role %All.

I tried to call the API with the URL

http://solidara.net:52773/csp/solidara/get_components/solidara?username=...

What's am I doing wrong there?

The iKnow documentation shows an example for adding sources to a domain after an initial loading of sources.

The example uses text files. However, our data is now in Cache SQL tables.

Is it possible to add sources from a Cache SQL table, and is there an example of how this is done?

I'm trying to establish a communication between my edge, which is in one server, with my HUB which is in another one.
In EDGE, when the HS.Gateway.HSWS.WebServices component sends a message to the HUB component, it receives the following error: "Cannot invoke method RegisterGateway; WebServiceClientClass 'HS.Hub.HSWS.WebServicesClient' could not be instantiated, or the WebServiceURL Location could not be determined".

May someone help me?

Why do I upload files faster with webservice than with csp?

The soap protocol used by webservice has to go through http protocol. csp directly handles http, no xml encapsulation, so it should be faster.

After testing, for a 1M file, csp is about 0.1s slower. After the gateway connection to 1972, there is a stall of about 0.1s, not sure why.

Is there any way to make the file upload speed of csp faster than webservice?

webservice用的soap协议也得走http呀。csp直接处理http，少了xml的封装，按理来说应该更快。

经测试，1M的文件，csp慢了0.1s左右。在网关连接到1972后，有0.1s左右的停滞，不知道原因。

I am able to list out classes of namespace . But I need to list out unchecked mapped items classes

I have a dashboard which shows the growth of the months compared with the month from the last year.

The way I found to develop that, it was with a kpi. So, I overrode the %OnLoadKPI method with two mdx:

When developing a new Interoperability Production, it is quite natural that settings are initially added in the Production.

However, as soon as you want to move the Production from development to a test or staging environment, it becomes clear that some settings like HTTP Servers, IP addresses and/or ports need to be changed. In order to avoid these settings being overwritten during a redeployment later on, it is essential that you move these settings from the Production to the System Default settings.
