Just wanted to acknowledge the fact that this community has become a great resource for help. I have had many wonderful people helping me out with my questions in last couple of weeks. Thank you to all of you :)
We had our first meetup of the Prague Meetup for InterSystems Data Platform last Thursday!
As it was our first such venue, the attendance was not large, but we believe it was a good start. Those who attended could learn about new features that InterSystems IRIS brings to our partners and customers as well as listen to a presentation discussing what it takes to migrate from Caché or Ensemble to InterSystems IRIS and eventually containerizing their applications.
Hello Everyone, I am new here and I am learning docker to crack my upcoming interviews. I am confused whats the steps in a deploy process for Dockerized Apps stored In A Git Repo? I am so confused about this, Can anyone know about docker programming. If yes then please suggest some more tips which are useful for my future point.
InterSystems Innovation Acceleration Team invites you to take part in the GenAI Crowdsourcing Mini-Contest.
GenAI is a powerful and complex technology. Today, we invite you to become an innovator and think big about the problems it might help solve in the future.
I've setup an operation that pulls text from an MDM message and uses it to generate a csv file. I'm having issues as our vendor is sending the file with a carriage return (as shown below) to signify the next line but Healthshare is recognising this as a new segment which causes an error.
Come join us on Developer Week in NYC on 18-20 of June!
InterSystems has signed on for a high-level sponsorship and exhibitor space at this year's DeveloperWeek, billed as "New York City’s Largest Developer Conference & Expo". This is the first time we have participated in the event that organizers expect will draw more than 3,000 developers from 18th to 20th June.
The Mockable.io (https://www.mockable.io/) is an online service to deploy REST API or SOAP services in seconds. This is useful to test the consumption of an API or SOAP service in your production or objectscript class without having to implement a real service, including https option.
I recently posted an article regarding a technological aspects that could boost the internet speeds of every individual/s personal work station in the given situation of the pandemic.
But, unfortunately my article is not published and I see it under draft.
Is there a particular reason for this please?
Have I missed something that needs to be followed?
Is that why the article that was published is now under the draft section?
I run most of my reviews using Docker Desktop on Windows 10. According to the recommendations, I clean up docker and downloaded repositories after tests: Repos are simple but Docker is somewhat resistant to release the consumed disk space.
Too often users finding themselves in need of a software solution do not consider “open source” vs. “proprietary” alternative. Most of them either have their go-to favorite developer or just google for reviews and ready-made answers. However, this alternative must be the starting point of their search, as the decision has the most consequences.
It is not an overstatement to say that open source is the future of technology, albeit, it has its own unique challenges. Here is what users, especially corporate users should consider choosing the software for their business needs.
I recently had to diagnose a networking problem I was having when attached to our corporate network. I was seeing an unknown bridge network being defined that shared the same IP address space as the company network thus blocking access to company resources. This bridge network was separate from the Docker0 bridge network which the docker engine sets up. Docker was configured with a bip (bridge ip) address to prevent docker form using an address space that create a conflict.
The typical WHERE condition in SQL relates mostly to some content of the rows you work on. So it needs to be calculated and checked for each row you access. Differently (and that's why I named it STATIC) is a WHERE condition that is independent of the rows you access.
When you find yourself in need or desire of learning something new in technology and you face the challenge of embarking on a new venture, what is the appropriate starting point? How do you decide where to begin and how to gradually approach the process, especially when the challenge seems overwhelming?
Myself I read official documentation or try to start with something I know and then learn something new very related.
We are ridiculously good at mastering data. The data is clean, multi-sourced, related and we only publish it with resulting levels of decay that guarantee the data is current. We chose the HL7 Reference Information Model (RIM) to land the data, and enable exchange of the data through Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®).
I am new to the developer community and i intend on writing a new article.
I have a few ideas on what to write but i need to know specifically what kind of content it has to be?
I do not want to update content that is not valid and waste the time.
Please let me know what kind of content am I allowed to post as it will be very helpful for this purpose.
Also if i post something and want to remove it i need to know how i could delete / remove what I have posted, or should I inform the relevant authorities if any on instances as such.
I and other developers want to know if do we need to ask permission for the creator to translate an article to portuguese? Sometimes we send a message requesting authorization, but we don't receive a answer, what we do?
I just met a personal challenge translating my article to French. Tough I had to learn it at school and could read and understand famous literature (Sartre, Molière, Mauriac, Proust, Saint-Exupéry, Anouilh, ...) I missed the specific terms used with ISC technology. Thanks to @Lorenzo Scalese my errors were corrected. But no dictionary was able to answer.
During my recent work on Tutorial - Working with %Query #1 I met a Class Property that is quite different from its same-named relatives. It is there since 'ever' but is rarely used, Related doc doesn't help so much.
InterSystems team is heading to MIT's largest hackathon this weekend where we will introduce a tech challenge for hackers. We offer hackers to use IntegratedML or InterSystems Supply Chain Orchestrator in their projects in order to compete for some really cool prizes!
If you are in Boston and would be interested to be an InterSystems mentor at the event - drop me a line.
UPDATE: We have our amazing winners! Check out these projects:
Thanks to everyone who took part in InterSystems Challenge! Don't forget to join our Discord Server to stay in touch and receive notifications on upcoming InterSystems programming contests!
