My question originated when trying to help a coworker...

There is a system module, specifically a ClassMethod that inserts records into a table as per the pseudocode below:

set Obj = ##class(FooSchema.FooTable).%New()
set Obj.fooProp = fooValue
// Other Foo properties //
set status = Obj.%Save()

From time to time, when trying to save the object, an error , informing that it was not possible to obtain the exclusive lock on the table instance

I searched a way to transform a HL7 Message to Persistent. I found a way how to create Data Transformation from Mangment Portal -> Data Transformation Interface. But my task is to create somthing similar to that tool in my web site interface. And the question is: Is There way to create something like new instance of Data Transformation class " Ens.DataTransformDTL" using object script?

We're creating a method to convert json to csv but we don't want to convert/interpret any of the data

The write in the code snipped below will give 220 as weight instead of 220.00.

Does anyone now a way/method to don't interpret the data without put "" on the values?

I save / compile a class and instantly run a debug. No issue

A few seconds later, try to run the same debug and get presented with either:

1) Target Source is not compiled (Open launch json) dialog box

OR

2) The version of the file on the server is newer.

In the meantime I have made no edits to the VS Code window at all.

How can I get the current date and time in the destination file when I'm using Stream.CopyFrom because Stream.CopyFrom preserves the date and time of the source file.

Hello, I'm curious to see how other people deal with this: we have a text file that was created on someone's Windows machine and it was copied and pasted into a text file on someone's Mac machine. After some examination we realized that the line feeds were originally CRLF (for Windows) and when copied and pasted they were changed to LF (Mac). The diff program we used didn't pick up on this and the program we wrote to read the file was getting each line of the CRLF file and treating the whole file as one line for the LF file.

I have a list type data object, that has both null entries and locked entries. While iterating through the list items using GetAt() function, a locked item is satisfying the not null condition. But I need a different conditional statement for null items and locked items.

Has anyone here been successfully populating a %Persistent object from calling %LoadFromMemory() with a temp. global?

I have tried using Sample.Person in the SAMPLES namespace. It worked EXCEPT that I have no way to set the id into that Sample.Person objec.

Suppose I created a new DeepSee class to display a new item in the dashboard.

Wich, in general, is just a copy of a similar class in %ZEN with minor changes. I need to include it in the base install. How can i do this? Am I ever allowed to change the composition of system classes?
