In this GitHub we gather information from a csv, use a DataTransformation to make it into a FHIR object and then, save that information to a FHIR server all that using only Python.
The objective is to show how easy it is to manipulate data into the output we want, here a FHIR Bundle, in the IRIS full Python framework.
We'd like to highlight some outstanding projects created during the European Healthcare Hackathon 2023 in Prague.
Participants were presented with nine real-world healthcare challenges by IKEM and AstraZeneca. InterSystems introduced to the participants an opportunity to use the FHIR repository and perform FHIR availability into their solutions by providing FHIR cloud services on AWS.

In this article, I will show you how to configure FHIR repository + OAuth2 authorization server/resource server on IRIS for Health following the previous article.
In Part 1, we introduced the preliminary preparations, configuring the OAuth2 authorization server, and obtaining the access token.

In 2021, I participated as an InterSystems mentor in a hackathon, where a newcomer to FHIR asked me if there was a tool to transform generic JSON data containing basic patient information into FHIR format. I informed her that I didn't know anything like that, unfortunately.
But that idea stays in my mind...
Several months later, in 2022, I came up with an idea to experiment: to train a named entity recognition (NER) to identify FHIR elements into generic texts. The training involved synthetic FHIR data generated by Synthea and the spaCy Python library.

As you may know, the next release FHIR R5 is currently published in "beta". Right now, it is undergoing a quality review. And we'd like to invite YOU to participate in this process!
Your task, if you wish to accept it 😉, is to check text descriptions, copy editing, and grammar. To facilitate this quality review, ClinFHIR is being used, which is a web tool used for developer education on FHIR and to help developers to visualize FHIR data and to plan out the building of FHIR applications.
