When using the REST API classes for building services on a spec-first approach, the implementation class methods are usually built this format:

ClassMethod <method-name>(body As %DynamicObject) As %Stream.Object

But sometimes it keeps building the endpoint implementation method like this:

ClassMethod <method-name>(body As %Stream.Object) As %DynamicObject

It has been a problem because the rest of my implementation rely on the fact that the "body" object is a DynamicObject.

I'm trying to connect to one of our Ensemble servers Cache database from a C#-windows form . I'm running the client from my local computer with OS win7. Using .NET FW ver 4.5.2 in the client.

ODBC local setup using "InterSystems ODBC35"

In this ODBC konfigurationview i can put my userID and password and try a testconnect (or ping). And that run successful.

However, we don't want to leave credentials in the ODBC-configuration it self (open up for anybody to use the source) but instead send it from the klients.

We often have troubles with performance when joining tables with about 10 million rows together.

How can I create a calculated field that will give me the grand total of a column? For instance, if I have a row that has 200, 300, 500, 600, how do I get the Grand Total?

I have already used the wrench under Column Options as % of Total so, I can't use that option.

Let's say that we wish to store the documents sent to us via all of our Customers, and that the documents could be in PDF, spreadsheet, RTF, plain text, Comma-Separated-Values and XML.

It would be hoped that %Stream.Object would be a good choice of property to hold these documents, especially as you would expect %Stream.Object to morph between BINARY (for PDF, spreadsheet, RTF) or CHARACTER (for plain text, CSV, XML) depending on which type of stream was being persisted.
