• We are seeking a skilled IRIS/InterSystems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deploying, configuring, and maintaining IRIS and Intersystems technologies to support our organization's critical applications. As an integral part of our IT team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our systems.

Responsibilities:

1. System Deployment and Configuration:
   • Install, configure, and maintain IRIS/Intersystems platforms to meet the organization's application and database requirements.
2. Performance Optimization:
   • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
   • Investigate and resolve system-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions promptly.
4. Security Implementation:
   • Implement and maintain security measures to protect IRIS/Intersystems environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
5. Database Management:
   • Manage and maintain databases, including backup and recovery processes, data integrity, and access controls.
6. Integration Support:
   • Collaborate with application development teams to support the integration of IRIS/Intersystems technologies with other applications and systems.
7. Documentation:
   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
8. Collaboration and Training:
   • Work closely with other IT professionals and provide training and support to team members on IRIS/Intersystems technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining IRIS and Intersystems platforms.
• Strong understanding of database management principles and best practices.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IRIS/Intersystems technologies.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining system security measures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in IRIS or Intersystems technologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare-related systems or applications.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation.
