Hello,

We are in process of moving our first Production from development to test. We exported our project from Studio. On test server, we cannot Open the Production because it is not a valid production because nothing exists in Ens. Config.Production class. What are we missing? How do we add our Production in Ens.Config.Production?

I'm trying to create asynchronous Ensemble service/operation pair for SOAP passthrough.

General configuration:

  • Ensemble Service receives a message and immediately returns an answer to a caller (message received or some error)
  • Ensemble Service asynchronously calls Business Operation
  • Business Operation does guaranteed message delivery, etc.

Is it a viable approach?

Any tips? Ideas? Caveats? Code?

Seems like I can sublass EnsLib.SOAP.GenericService and change Sync to ASync (and provide a default reply immediately).

Hi, Community!

Suppose I have class A with properties P1 and P2.

I want to introduce class B, which would have same records as Class A, but only one property - P2.

What is the easiest way to manage it assuming that I would like to use Class A to add records and be available for any operations to Users with Role A.

And I would like to introduce class B for Users with role B for read-only access. Preferably they shouldn't even be aware of Class A and P1 existence .

What is the easiest way to introduce it and manage it?

I'm developing a mini-framework to implement annotations in Cache. I want to support two kind of annotations: metadata and method decorators. I've got stuck trying to implement the second one.

Metadata

With metadata annotations I can add metadata to any kind of target. A target can be a method/classmethod, parameter, property and class.

Created a record map to read a flat-file of lab results.

Have multiple lines that represent result components for a given order per pt MRN.

Grouping these records together based upon the order number in a custom service to create a single XML message.

Within the XML message, there are some fields that occur once and some that occur one or more times.

Within the record map, the fields/properties that occur once are configured as "As %String. The fields/properties that occur more than once are configured as "As List of %String.

We're developing Ensemble PoC and one day our frontend developer (who doesn't have Ensemble production running) said that Populate just doesn't cut it and he needs to see the real data. He needed only one object, but the problem was - it's a big object. Still, I checked ids of everything related and wrote this command (parts omitted, but you get the idea):

On the Mac...

I've defined a Cache Connection to my local server. It worked for the last two days, but after an uninstall/reinstall of Atelier, it stopped working. The stack trace has these entries:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Can't read from secure storage node /com.intersys.eclipse.connmgr/ensrc

Caused by: org.eclipse.equinox.security.storage.StorageException: No password provided.

Hi folks!

Those who actively use unittests with ObjectScript know that they are methods of instance but not classmethods.

Sometimes this is not very convenient. What I do now if I face that some test method fails I COPY(!) this method somewhere else as classmethod and run/debug it.

Is there a handy way to call the particular unittest method in terminal? And what is more important, a handy way to debug the test method?

Why do we have unittest methods as instance methods?

We are wondering how could we iterate over a segments list,

The use case is that we are sending from Process X to process Y a message, only if at the OBR4 CE1 there is a certain code. We were getting this field as follows:

How could we iterate over the following message and get both OBR4 CE1 (1 and 2):

Hi,

I am trying to use data transformation (DTL) to map a JSON to SDA. My elements in the source JSON is not one to one with SDA object. That means I have to add code to loop through these objects in order to complete the mapping. Can someone send me a sample that can look to create that? I am not very comfortable with scripting language used in Health Share. Appreciate your help.

Hello, I want to show a fellow DC member how to convert JSON file into HL7 message. I personally do not work with HL7. I set up a production with EnsLib.File.PassthroughService. It passes Ens.StreamContainer to BPL process. I call a DTL to transform StreamContainer to HL7 message. I run into an error:

Hi guys,
I've setup an FTP passthrough service and operation to move two files from one SFTP server to another.
The files are moved and i can confirm with filezila that the whole operation went well.
However, i need to raise errors and send email if one the sftp servers is down for whatever reason, and if the trasnfer didn't go well.
I ticked the alert on error box for the passthrough BS and BO and the errors are indeed forwraded to an alert management system. I have real problems with the check on the SFTP servers.

Performance testing in Ensemble

Hi,

Can you please help me to know if there is any performance testing tool for Ensemble production.

Requirement is : I need to track the time consumed for conversion of message in BP , from the time the service picked the file from "In " folder and gives the response output file in "Out" folder.
