On this webinar, we’ll demo the iris-analytics-template and answer the questions on how to develop, build, and deploy Analytics applications using InterSystems IRIS.
Date & Time: Monday, December 7 — 12:00 PM EDT
Speakers: 🗣 @Carmen Logue, InterSystems Product Manager - Analytics and AI 🗣 @Evgeny Shvarov, InterSystems Developer Ecosystem Manager
Is there an undocumented class method that will output the FQDN?
$SYSTEM only reports the part of the name concatenated with the namespace. Checking $SYSTEM.INetInfo doesn't provide the full DNS name, only a partial value that matches $SYSTEM.
I can do a call out to the OS to get that value which seems to be the only way I can get the value.
I am looking for a way to detimerine if a certain namespace is ensemble enabled. I´ve seen such a solution somewhere in the past but can´t find it anymore. Is there a simplistic api around for that?
My second question is in context of log some information to the console log file with a certain error level. Also, I´ve seen this in the past and can´t find it agian. I guess there was some kind of simple api to use for this.
Today I helped someone solve a mystery. He had been trying to use the -U namespace argument of a csession command to specify the namespace in which to run a particular routine, and was puzzled when the routine could not be found.
Presenter: Alex MacLeod Task: Understand and use IHE in HealthShare Approach: Provide a real-world example of a successful IHE implementation
In this session, we will discuss the basics of IHE in HealthShare, as well as share a real world example of a successful IHE implementation.

We have a machine that serves 4 instances of Cache on VMS systems, one of them is password protected and works fine as they all do. we decided we wanted something beefier and copied it to a server, well all but the one you have to login to works so 3 of the 4 do. and the odd part is I can no longer get to the management page from anywhere on any machine, http://localhost/csp/bin/Systems/Module.cxw I get a 404.8 error, I have tried adjusting security and same thing. and a server availability error.
Dear community, we are building up a digital backbone for our 17 hospitals and looking for reinforcement within the team. Maybe this is something for you or someone you know?
Interoperability of systems ensures smooth workflow and management of data in today's connected digital world. InterSystems IRIS extends interoperability a notch higher with its Embedded Python feature, which lets developers seamlessly integrate Python scripts into the IRIS components, like services, operations, and custom functions.
Kubernetes is an open-source container orchestration framework developed by Google. In essence, it controls container speed and helps you manage applications consisting of multiple containers. Additionally, it allows you to operate them in different environments, e.g., physical machines, virtual machines, Cloud environments, or even hybrid deployment environments.
Big news from the Open Exchange platform! We've been busy behind the scenes, not just giving the place a new look but also packing in some nifty features we think you'll love—many of which were inspired by your requests and feedback. It's all part of our ongoing mission to boost the quality of the apps and ensure the world sees the incredible work you're putting in. From streamlining your workflow to boosting collaboration, our aim is to support and highlight your creativity. Excited for you to explore and experience the new enhancements!
We find ourselves at a crossroads in our development journey, and we're reaching out to the community for insights and guidance regarding a critical aspect of our data management strategy.
IRIS has the likes of SQL inbound adapters for use with SQL gateways such as EnsLib.SQL.InboundAdapter to repeatedly query SQL Gateway connections. A scenario appeared as that we wanted to query an Internal database for some data but did not see an out of the box service for this.
Desired Approach
Have a Generic service that can poll internal SQL to work with downstream components.
Welcome back to %SYS! If you read the first article in this series, you must have already seen how to manage your users through the Security.Users class programmatically. Today, we will move on to Resources! Many of the classes in this package use a very similar set of methods.
SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Database Developer’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Understand existing application using InterSystems Technology such as Cache Object Code, Ensemble, Older Style Tag and Routine. • To perform support and maintenance of existing Cache code • Analysis and migration of existing Cache code to Microsoft SQL; and Web Services (SOA)
You can use the system routine ^DBSIZE to estimate the backup file size (see also Note 1).
^DBSIZE estimates the file size of full, cumulative, and differential backups of the databases selected in the database backup list.
The database backup list is created from [System Administration] > [Configuration] > [Database Backup] > [Database Backup List] in the Management Portal.
Can anyone please help me how to use regular expression/wild character on a sql query for a pattern like C00.0 to C00.9, C01.0 to C01.9 and so on until C77.0 to C77.9 .

We'll look at moving InterSystems workload to the public cloud, then take a deep dive into the current architectures on the InterSystems cloud platform:

I have created SOAP service and WSDL generated. While accessing WSDL URLs, it is redirecting to login page and giving access with production credentials.
I have tried to invoke form webservice clinet (soapui /postman), endup with authentication failed error.
Same service I am able to access from Terminal.
Could you please help me to access Production exposed SOAP service with out authentication.
Hi everyone - In IRIS we would like to arrange the access of two users in such a way that each has access to exactly one (his) database only. Which resource does this (%DB_%DEFAULT allows each of the two users access to both databases). If you create new resources (%DB_Database1 and %DB_Database2) and then add them to individual roles (each for the user to), the access for the users, for example, via a REST client does not give the desired separation (instead once Ok, other database 401 Unauthorized both OK).
