I encountered a strange issue I just can’t solve and I am running out of ideas. After reading the relevant passages of the documentation, asking the community is my last resort.
I am a .NET developer and new to using this IRIS Component. We are using InterSystems.Data.Clients ADO.NET component to connection to IRIS, I am able to open the connection but when i called Close, ADO.NET code showing connection is closed state in .NET code but in IRIS side it showing as connection is still open. The will close only after recycling apppool or closing IISExpress/calling application
Here are the steps I used to open the IRIS connection.
In the context of IKO (Iris Kubernetes Operator) the question of Service not redirecting dynamically to the correct Pod is still pending. In production this can be dangerous since an overload (or any other simpler problem) can cause you to change the main Pod and leave the application inoperable until we intervene.
Intersystems support warned that this is still an issue of IKO, but there are some possibilities that I am studying.
To explore an idea I had, I would like the help of this Forum to answer the following question:
In this installment of InterSystems IRIS 2020.1 Tech Talks, we put the spotlight on extending InterSystems IRIS with your own custom Java and .NET code. We will demo how to create a custom interoperability component with the new Productions Extensions (PEX) feature. Following that, we’ll demo how to call Java or .NET code from any ObjectScript code.
I've got Eclipse installed (Javascript 2019-6) but when search for Atelier from the market place within the IDE it does not show up.
I found it in the browser version of the marketplace, and tried to drag it in but got the message 'The following solutions are not compatible with this version of Eclipse'.
I tried installing an older version of Eclipse (photon) but the installer keeps telling me I haven't got JRE 1.7+ installed (I have 1.8 64bit installed already), and sends me to a download page so I can't continue.

I was discussing the interoperability side of FHIR as part of a discussion about the best resource/s that should be used in order to represent Antibiotic resilience, and although we've reached an agreement, that got me thinking of two thing, and I'd love to know your thoughts on those matters.
I need to verify that certain .m files have been compiled and inserted into the VA mumps database. I need to do it on a schedule and thus I want to automate it. Because of the automation I'd prefer not to use the IRIS web app. So if there were a similar CLI version that would be great. I see there is something called /usr/bin/iris but this seems to be a maintenance tool, not a IRIS.DAT querying tool. I'd love to be wrong about that.
Please forgive my lack of proper nomenclature, clearly I'm a n00b.
The last time I used CSP was back in 2008, so I am very rusty on it. This question might have been asked many times, and the answer probably is that it is a matter of preference.
Are there scenarios to which CSP pages is easier/better to use than classes extending from %CSP.Page? I want to build a little thing and don't want to start at the wrong end. Doing an API-based, heavy client-side framework is not a requirement, and I would prefer not to do it that way.
I would like to get a list of all globals that have been read or written during a given context. In Portal, there are counters in dashboard that give the number of read/write to globals in general.
What I am looking for :
- some handler (eg: like $ZTRAP) that will be called everytime something is read/written to a global.
- to activate a "global log mode" in Portal that will dump some information to a file (like ^ISCSOAP for SOAP requests).
We're having a problem with the way Python modules are being cached in Iris. If we modify some code and then reimport a module it is still processing the old code.
Watch this video to learn how InterSystems has been building out capabilities to support current and future regulations in the US market that can have a significant impact on payers and providers:

In toolbar, by default, all items show on one line and when menu items do not fit on visible part of screen, invisible items hide and appear two buttons - last item and previous item.
I want, in that case, items, which do not fit on visible part of screen, go on second line. In other words, I want all items to be visible.
Is it possible to configure toolbar for behavior I want?

Hello programmers I would like to build a simple app where I could register data from a user like a name, age, and the phone just to practice, but for that, I would like to build the frontend and backend and also I need to be able to insert, update and delete information. Does anyone have any recommendations for me on how I could do that using Intersystems IRIS?
I programmed some server command by my own. That server commands worked fine for a long time.
Suddonly I received
Studio Action "Attempted Edit" not supported on 127.0.0.1:57772[CTAE01]
by using one of my server commands.
There is an explanation:
Error running command vscode-objectscript.serverCommands.contextOther: Running the contributed command: 'vscode-objectscript.serverCommands.contextOther' failed.. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes vscode-objectscript.serverCommands.contextOther.

There will be serious errors and garbled code when I use the Data Migration to connect to MySQL through JAVA gateway. In fact , there are always many problems when I import data to the Caché database.
